3 tricks you need to make the most of this brow pen
This is my absolute holy grail brow product and has been for 7 years now. I use it every single day on my extremely sparse, practically non-existent brows to build up a believable, natural looking result, and it lasts through all-day swims/beach days/workouts and overnight. In my experience, there are three crucial things you should do: 1) store it vertically with the cap down, always, so the nib stays moist with product. 2) make sure your skin/brows are very clean and dry before application - I use toner and allow it to dry first, and apply my brows before my foundation to make sure the product sticks to my skin. 3) use the lightest, most feathery strokes you can, following the direction of your natural brow hairs for a microbladed appearance. My brows are microbladed and I STILL use this pen to make them look better, since the microblading pigment fades/feathers quickly on my oily skin. This stuff is the bomb and I'll have a breakdown if they ever stop using it.

In love with this brow pen!
Wow! Why did I not get this sooner?! This is exactly what I needed. I've spent hundreds of dollars in brow products. I have Anastasia brow pencils, Benefit brow pencils, Benefit Kabrow pomade, and Benefit Gimme Brow just to name a few. Lately I've been using the Benefit Kabrow pomade and a fine detail paint brush from a craft store to try to mimic hair strokes. It takes forever with that method, and it's hard to get thin hair-like strokes. This Stila brow pen is amazing! It creates perfect hair-like strokes. It takes half the time to do my brows as it does with the pomade. I've seen other reviews on this pen where they have talked about it drying out quickly and only lasting like a month. I just got this so I don't know about that, but honestly even if it only lasted a few weeks I don't care. Paying $21 a month for the look that this pen gives my brows is totally worth it in my opinion. I'm so, so happy with this pen!**UPDATE**Today is 7/22/18. I've had this pen for a couple months, and it's still going strong. I have found that if I pinch the very end (literally the tippity tip) of this pen between my thumb and middle fingernails and pull just a teeny tiny bit of the fibers, it completely renews the pen like new. I hope I'm describing this technique adequately because it works very well to increase the longevity of the pen. I don't see it drying up any time soon.

LOVE!
This is my favorite brow pen! It goes on easily and looks just like microblading with some practice. I’ve been using it for years. It stays put even in this Florida humidity! They last about 4 months with daily use as well.

Umm...why all the good reviews?
So, I have alopecia, and I am barely holding on to what few strands of eyebrow hairs I have. With this said, I have to draw on my eyebrows. I have bought hundreds and hundreds of dollars worth of eyebrow "stuff", including gels, tattoo pens, and even four sets of eyebrow "wigs". Out of all the products I have ordered, this pen is probably one of the worst, especially when it comes to cost/expectation ratio. I read many reviews, and most of them are great, so I decided to take the plunge and spend the $23 and try it.If you are thinking that it is just the light color not showing up...nur. There is absolutely nothing coming out. This is an expensive, dried up pen.Save your money.NOTHING COMES OUT OF THE PEN! I store it upside down (meaning with the tip downward) so the product travels toward the tip, instead of in my makeup bag, and it still doesn't come out. I can press it really hard on my hand, and a spot or two comes out, but if this is supposed to come out consistently in brush like strokes, then I must have a very defective pen.I keep trying it...to see if it will magically work. I shake it, I try it in different positions...nothing works. So, I just wasted $23, which really blows.

5 stars if it was consistently full.
I’ve been using this brush for a couple years and I love it except when I have to return a new one because it seems to be empty or it runs out of color really fast. This happens at least 50% of the time.I would recommend trying a lighter color than what you might expect to use, I think it goes on a little darker. It goes on slightly wet and sometimes clumps a little bit not a problem if you use a handy eyebrow brush. It lasts at least 2 days, it’s water resistant but comes off easily with a face towelette or face wash.It looks natural in combination with my own eyebrows. I have light brown hair and have used the light and medium colors and both work. The cost is a little high and sometimes the pencil lasts 2 or more months using every 3 days, if it isn’t empty or dried up.

Not waterproof I’m the slightest! Total crap
This runs right down your face the slightest hint of humidity in the air. Wunderbrow is far superior. That stuff stays out even during face-smashed into the pillow-type sex. This stila junk can’t handle anything MOIST. And I typically like stilas products. It literally bleeds out and looks ridiculous. Don't waste your money it doens't stay for 5 minutes let alone all day.

Not worth it. The dark version might be
I ordered the dark as well which has a lot more pigment and seems to actually work. The medium is such a drastically different color with barely any pigment. When I shake the pen I can hear the liquid but can't get it to work after the first time. Very disappointing and have wasted my money. If your going to get one at all get the dark. Although it's too dark for me and for most everyone. you can still lightly draw in hair strokes then quickly blend it out before it dries to lighten it a bit. But all in all, won't be buying either ever again.

This is the best product on the market for people like me who ...
This is the best product on the market for people like me who have about 10 hair's in your eyebrows. I will never buy anything else, I tried other products before but none have made my eyebrows look normal like the Stilla Stay All Day Waterproof Brow Color. I will purchase this item for life.

Makeup bag essential, always have one handy, but not perfect
So the Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Brow Color (in Light Ash) is 100% an essential makeup item for me, and as soon as one starts to dry out (more on that below) I order the next one. Why? A few reasons:1. It's the closest I've ever come to the perfect colour for me - I have very pale, pinky tone skin with very pale blonde hair (albeit currently dyed a little darker). Most brow colours have a 'light' shade, and it's always either orangey or greeny for some reason - too warm, and clashes with both my skin tone and my hair colour. This i as close as I've got a true ashy shade - fair enough it doesn't look too dark, cool enough it doesn't look instantly fake, and definitely not orange.2. It has an ultra-fine tip, which allows me to get precise shaping on my fine brows - the outer ends are really thin, so an angled brush with powder is useless, and just looks all smudged. This allows absolutely precise, hair-width strokes.3. The colour put-down is fantastic - to begin with it's a really wet, inky formulation that requires little contact to leave colour behind - combined with the above (ultra-fine tip) it allows me to both create fine, accurate outer corners and thicker, bushy inner brows quickly.4. It lasts a long time - probably 3 months before it sightly starts to dry out, then another 1-3 before it is pretty much unusable. I'm very happy with this for the price. However, I've not given it 5 stars as it isn't perfect - it wears off your brow *hairs* quite quickly, though stays on your skin, so by the end of the day I end up with areas of ash skin above my ears with white blonde brow hairs sticking out of it. Because of this I also bought Wunderbrow in a couple of colours and use them very gently over my Stila penned in brows on the actual hairs of my brow, following the precise shape I first created with Stila. None of the Wunderbrow shades are great, so I only use a tiny bit and let the pen dictate most of the actual colour, and I really brush through the Wunderbrow to make sure it's shade doesn't dominate (and also that there are no clumps). The shade also is still very, very slightly warmer than I would like. Better than the 'Fair' shade, which I first brought (and is muddy and has a slight green tinge to the colour), but not 100% perfect yet. Still an absolute essential for me though, and I'm terrified they'll discontinue it as I've found nothing that performs even close yet - and that includes every single Mac and Benefit brow product as I've tried them all.

Useless - waste of money
I read the reviews ahead of purchasing this product and it appeared to be just what I was looking for as I wanted to be able to draw small hairstrokes to hide a rather botched semi permanent eyebrow tattoo. However i was sorely disappointed with the product. Firstly the colour pallate is very odd... I ordered two pens in different shades as I thought I'd be able to create a natural looking brow if i interspersed the colours. I chose the light ash in an attempt to match with my hair colour. Total disaster as The pen was pure grey... so ditched that straight away. I moved on to the medium (brown) which is an ok colour but after one use the pen dried up completely. Also it doesn't work well if you have any product on your eye brow.. e.g. if you have "gone over" your brows with a touch of moisturiser or have used concealer on/near the brows (which I do to hide hairstrokes imperfections) the brush nib becomes clogged and doesn't work. I found the pen impossible to use and binned both purchases - waste of money.

I have brows again woohoooo
I absolutely love this! It's exactly what I've always been looking for!!! I was using an eyebrow pencil before but was finding it was caking in sparse patches and wasn't looking natural but switching to this has been great! It fills in my eyebrows so naturally and I can add in a few extra hairs to bulk out my brows and add a bit of length without it looking like I drew 2 huge caterpillars on my face! :) Highly recommend!

I'm a MUA and this is the BEST eyebrow pen I've found ANYWHERE. BUY THIS!!!
This is the BEST product I've found on the market. By FAR.I ended up buying a ton of these and won't use anything else other than a bit of powder for filler.Stila is a well known brand for quality and these pens don't dry out like cheaper versions. The pen is very fine and look like individual eyebrow hairs.I can't recommend this product enough. Its absolutely brilliant.Well worth trying one and investing 10 more!!!! May the makeup Gods never discontinue this product. ❤️❤️❤️

Okay-ish
A rather okay product. I like the felt tip, makes it quite easy to define specific areas. The colour, however, is horrible. I bought brunette which looked very similar to my natural colour on the picture but turned out to be waaay too black. The colour choice is very poor so doubt theres any other colour that could be right for me. I ended up combining it with my eyebrow pencil but that means i have to either always buy 2 products just for my brows or never buy this one again. Its also quite hard to correct any mistakes but theres advantage to it - it definitely stays on all day. Overall, I'd recommend it if you are skilled in makeup and have very dark hair colour
