Went fishing in the Idaho Falls area and kept getting strikes on it. Turns out it was small trout hitting the body from the side and swimming away. Set the hook hard and hooked one in the tail.

This lure should be illegal. I have used Panther Martins to destroy fishing holes for over 40 years. The previous deadly pattern was/is the black bodied, gold bladed spinner with red spots on the blade. This new rainbow pattern is far more deadly. It is my go-to lure for just about any species, especially in waters that I am not familiar with. It is especially deadly on rainbows! After 2 weeks of fishing this lure the paint was almost gone from the body which is testament to how strongly fish hit this lure. I have since bought 10 more.

My kids and I absolutely slay rainbows with this lure consistently.

Simply the best and proven lures i have used. Out of the 134 fish i have caught so far this season, probably 80% of them have been on Panthers of all sizes.

I like the pm's or mepps, but this color pattern is my go to. I have several sizes and prefer the smallest possible on an ultralight setup. Lot's of trout and steelhead smash these.

My friend told me to get these before going to Adams McGill reservoir in Nevada. Caught numerous trout and a few bass.
