I think they should write more books from other couples' experiences to really illustrate how all families look different but with the same language and style. Great job. I am a single mother and share this story with my 4 year old who has really seemed to embrace the story well and hasn't put new ideas into his head that he is not yet ready for. I do adapt some of the language, ie to say "man" and "woman" as opposed to "mother" and "sperm donor."

I think this book is great for all families as a very beginning primer conversation to "how are babies made?" This book does a great job explaining the process on a level my kids could understand (4 and 7). I have found other books but I wasn't comfortable with how detailed the message was, I wanted to leave some room for questions and thought process, this book was perfect. It was recommended to me and I would recommend to others.
