Review: Avoids cold spots in the glue joint. - I had one of these units for roughly 12 years. I lost it in a shop fire. Unfortunately I bought a cheaper mechanical gun, which does not automatically release the pressure on the glue. This can let the bigger color tube feed extra color into the mixing tube. When you pick it up to glue the next seam you'll get about 8 inches of good mix out followed by 6 inch or so of mix without the right amount of hardener in it. If you think in terms of a caulking gun. This is your more expensive unit. It does have some nylon or abs parts and must be handled with care. But hey I never called tech support while I had this one.
