They're as difficult to close as every continuous hoop-meaning if you don't like/have difficulty with continuous hoops, these will not be for you. For myself, I prefer them because they are so hard to lose, and it took me about fifteen seconds to put them in because I'm used to doing this. My best suggestion for those struggling with them is open and close every earring before putting it in your ear, sometimes the 'post' wire needs a gentle nudge to be bent in the right direction. They won't be for everyone because everyone has a personal preference, but for me they were perfect, exact quality of every other pair of this type I've ever worn, closed perfectly, nice and secure. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect Replacements *by L***E on March 10, 2023* These are the perfect replacement earrings for my small cartilage hoops. I got the silver 8mm and 10 mm pack. It comes with 4 pair: 2 pair 8 mm and 2 pair 10 mm. They are tight to close like other reviewers have said, but that's why I wanted them. Once I put these on, I don't take them out. I didn't have trouble putting them in, but I've been using these type of earrings for 26 years. They are comfortable to wear 24/7, since the hinge is flush with the hoop when they're closed. They're comfy to sleep on and everything. Bright, shiny, genuine sterling 925 silver as advertised. Great value and product. I would definitely buy these again.
