My only issue is that the tis is not as "skinny" as I expected. The tie is 3" at it's widest part, (which is the width of a relatively narrow tie), however, it doesn't get a lot narrower along the width of the rest of the tie. So it doesn't give the appearance being a very thin tie. The width of this tie just under the knot is the same width as 3.5" or 4" tie just under the knot. The tie width doesn't graduate over the length of the tie as much as other ties, so it doesn't give the overall appearance over being a very thin tie. I ordered my husband a tie to match my emerald dress for Christmas, and the tie we received was literally SLICED/cut up! How in the world did someone miss this upon packaging and sending it? Not sure how much of the tie was chopped off, but it was so short that it fit my husband like a children's tie. Not to mention, the "emerald" color is much too dark, and looks nothing like the photo.
