Lucy on the Loose (A Stepping Stone Book)

My six year old son enjoys the Absolutely Lucy series which takes a shy boy and an outgoing Beagle through a few life lessons where the boy works through his shyness and finds he can do more than imagined with Lidy by his side.My only complaint with this book is that the cat owner switches from saying "she" to "he" and flips between the two genders when talking about her cat. I know the books only cost $4.99 but you'd think the editors would have caught this glaring error.Overall I highly recommend the book series.

My daughter loves all of the Lucy adventure books!

I work with children who are either having problems reading or who are possibly having self esteem problems in the regular classroom. I bring my pet partner (bitsie a miniature daschund) into the school and the children (who are chosen by their teacher) read to her. I have been able to see them loose shyness and gain more confidence in their ability to read as the year has progressed. There are about 10 teams of dogs and their partners going into a local school and the kids really enjoy seeing them. I have found that short chapter book such as this are very good books for them to read.

My daughter likes reading these books. Not real action packed but they are still entertaining

this was 1 of 2 "Lucy" series books that I purchased for the grandchildren. They ahppened to get a new dog last year and they called her Lucy! These books were great for them to read to each other and to Lucy too!

My 8yr old son loves the Lucy series books. I had originally bought the 1st book in the series for him at Target but when he got through with it and was ready for the next one, they no longer had them in store. I'm so glad to have found the entire series here on Amazon!

My three year old daughter is hooked on the Lucy novels. She loves to listen to the trouble that Lucy and her owner get into. We would recommend this novel as a great one to read with your kids no matter their age.
