His illustrations have appeared in newspapers and magazines, on websites, on frozen-fish-stick packages, and in hospital waiting rooms. His picture books include The Eensy Weensy Spider Freaks Out!, More Bears!, and Giddy-Up, Daddy! The Notebook of Doom was his first early chapter book series. He lives in Indiana with his cat and family. Review: Great book series - Perfect for my just 7 year old to read. My 5 year old loved the stories too. We read the whole series. Review: Must read for young reluctant readers. - I feel like it has been pretty hard to find reading level appropriate books for my son that he gets excited about. When I found these Notebook of Doom books, I knew I had a winner! My son loves these books. He has all but one in his collection now. This series is tied for 1st (with Franny K Stein series and Dog Man) as his favorite books to read. We started reading these together when he was in 1st grade, he started reading them more on his own entering 2nd grade & is now entering 3rd and has been reading them 100% on his own for some time now. He connects with the characters and LOVES all the silly situations they get themselves into. I highly recommend these books.
