Excellent broad-based & balanced pet vitamin supplement.
After my last 2 cats died of kidney failure at age 12 within months of diagnosis, my replacement (& now middle-aged) rescue tabby got serious Kidney failure, despite being fed all higher quality 'natural' foods (& nothing from the grocery store) for the 10 years I have had her.Ms. Tabby was peeing a lot, lost her ability to purr, and dragging her rear legs. The local vet's Rx kidney foods and meds made her constipated, weaker, and worse off, to where I had to give her subQ IVs every other day and she could rarely make it to the litter box in time. She was miserable, and it hurt me to see her like that.Ms. Tabby is now around 14 and off all prescription meds and foods.I switched her to low-phosphorus/low glycemic index super-high quality organic canned food with adding these hard-to-find broad-based vitamins/minerals, which incl. Vit C; and adding a little extra lysine (both are known anti-virals, as is iodine) plus wild-caught fish oil & adenosylcobalamin (a type of B-12 that helps nerves).3 years after diagnosis she is still alive, purring, not peeing as much, making it to the box in time, pooping regularly, and can jump up on the couch again (though not any higher!..but she never was much of a jumper).FWIW:I read that many pet foods do not have the necessary precursors for the animal's livers to make Vit C, especially the high amounts of C they need to make when stressed (sick). I also noticed very few pet supplements had Vit C, which is stupid.I am a retired Health Coach, so I read and know a lot about human health, and much has parallels in other mammals, and especially pets since we are the ones feeding them.Latest human research shows human kidney failure is from certain strains from the HHV-family of viruses AND toxins/chemicals from diet, pills (incl. 'filler' chemicals) & environment. So I assume cat's undiscovered strain of FHV + nasty stuff in even high quality pet foods plus peeing out essential trace minerals and vitamins so much was similarly behind my kitty's kidney & nerve issues, which seems to be the case. I am glad Doc Silver's 'Rx Vitamins' and I could help her!And as I fill out this review, it asks me about the 'flavor' of a pet food. How the heck would I know? LOLMy other cat likes salmon pet food but not real salmon, so what can I say about the flavor of pet-anything?....Cats (like kids) generally do not like ANY new food, especially one that is 'good' for them, so start small, hide it in their normal food, and build up.I often put the fish oil 'on the side', so it's yummy (?!) perfume hides the smell of anything weird I put in her food, esp. the bitter lysine powder. My cat is used to it all now, and usually hunger overrides any suspicions.

Cat vitamin
My cats like it in their food and don’t seem to be upset with the taste. I think it helps their blood work
