These are samples of the actual contact paper. I did temporarily apply one to see how it would look, but did not leave it on so I'm not sure how well the adhesive will work over time. They seem to be able to be cut quite easily with scissors.

While it was nice to be able to get some samples to see if they would work on my counter and see which color I like the best I don’t like that they are charging for samples. I suppose it’s better than buying the product and not liking it but I would think that the company would offer free samples before purchasing their product. Unfortunately this product will not work for me as I have a textured counter top and it would leave air bubbles under the film.

I love this product and did my counters with it. There were a few minor flaws but that didn't stop me from using it. Firstly, the pixels are larger than I thought was necessary so upon close examination you can see the pixels but you have to look at it extremely closely. Secondly, the maximum width available was 36 inches. I have a counter that is 40 inches wide so it forced me to have a seam. It's too bad they don't let you custom order a wider width to match your counters. Thirdly, the printing on the product looked slightly "out of focus". I don't know why this is other than to merge adjacent pixels to make the boundaries less visible but I choose a marble pattern so this didn't matter.

I was really looking forward to breathing new life into my counter tops, and bought the sample pack to help choose which of the designs would best suit my kitchen. Unfortunately, every single one of these Instant Granite samples was an obviously low-quality, grainy photograph. Even in low light conditions, I don't think these samples would look good, but in my house with lots of natural light they were very obviously poor reproductions of the real thing. I will have to find another solution for updating my kitchen.

Loved these samples. The sheets sent are about the size of a sheet of paper. Really helpful on deciding on which color to choose.
