Aqua Sphere Silicone Ear Plug with Case

I swim several times a week, and have been using these plugs for about six months. I really like them.(1) Great case keeps the plugs clean between uses(2) Right and left plugs - no "one size fits both ears."(3) Keep water out when seated correctly in the ear canal.(4) Are comfortable, and easy to "set and forget."These plugs are shaped to fit the ear canal, bottom flat, top arched. I swim without a cap, and the plugs keep out the water, but the user must take the time to be sure they are positioned correctly in the ear.Definitely recommended.UPDATE - March 31, 2015:The seal on these plugs is starting to go. A bit of water leaks in when swimming on my back. Will be replacing them with the same product. Still very satisfied with the purchase.

Bought this item less than two months ago.I swim daily, and used the regular cheaper aqua sphere ear plugs before bought these.Liked those because they were smaller and prettier than the regular plugs ( Aqua Sphere conical swimmers ear plugs ) and the box is neat.The silicone plugs are less comfortable (stiffer) than the regular ones, but got used to them.The big problem is that the plugs broke (the soft part disassembled from the hard part) after less than two months of daily usage.With the regular plugs it happen (in a worse way that needed a nurse help) after 6-7 months.So I'm back to the regular plugs :-( and will replace them every 4-5 months.Note though that I'm still staying with aqua sphere ear plugs as they are:- more comfortable than others- seal better- stay in ear for longer, will less likely to pop outTherefore, unless you go for the ultra expensive custom made plugs, aqua sphere (the cheaper are better than the silicone) is the best option I've found.Just remember to replace them often enough!And also look at SwimOutlet as their price is often better than Amazon.

I used to have a similar pair for sleeping, but the large diameter and the stems poking out used to annoy me to no end, so I was skeptical when I tried these out, but was pleasantly surprised when they fit well (and of course the stems aren't a problem when swimming). It's nice to have a little case for these, and it is just large enough to carry my nose clip as well. Does a good job keeping the water out, and is not uncomfortable even though I have small ear canals (I have difficulty wearing most ear buds). The price was a bit steep, but these seem to do a better job than any foam or 'putty' (yuck) earplugs I've had experience with over the years.

These ear plugs work very well for me--I've bought them 3 times in the last 6 years, and wouldn't consider any others. I'd tried many, many different ear plugs over the years, and these just suit me. They are contoured to the ear canal, and keep water, and noise, out. I don't expect a small, silicone rubber piece to last forever, but they last about 2 years, which, considering the price, is inconsequential.

Didn't fit my ear and let water right in. No modifications for fit. No cord to keep them together. No instructions for how they're supposed to fit in your ear (they're directional). Terrible.

I never wear ear plugs more then 2 or 3 times then forget but since i started swimming for my cardio cause my new gym has a pool i figured its worth getting a pair. These fit well and the container they come with prevents you from losing 1 and having to throw away the other. If your going to swim enough to need ear plugs i highly recommend these.

I've had these about 2 weeks and have swam about 3 miles in them, they are great. I get dizzy when even a little water gets into my ear and have tried MANY different brands. These I have found to be the most comfortable (they are soft but firm) and the best at keeping water out. Highly recommended!

I have a hole in my inner ear drum and I cant get water in it or I will be in severe pain for days and end up going to doctor. these kept the water out excellently. you just have to make sure you get them in right. would recommend. I bought several different types and these are the best ones I have purchased.
