Would not buy again
The good news is that it is nice to have a powered shower rather than having to lift a solar shower bag above your head to hang it. But....We took this on an 8 day camping trip. By day 3 it stopped working. Narrowed the problem down to the male plug to the power source. The center wire had come loose (insufficient solder) and the second wire was wrapped around its contact and not soldered at all. My friend “Mr. Fixit” was along and we soldered the connections using his 110 soldering iron and a small inverter hooked up to the car battery. The second issue is that you cannot get the joint between the shower head and the hose to stop leaking. The rubber grommet was in place but still leaked at a fairly fast rate. (A side note, if you run this from one of the small “jump start” batteries make sure the battery does not time out if you are taking a navy shower. Between soap up and rinse down we had to hop out of the shower and reset the battery. What an adventure).EDIT 9/2/20: I contacted the seller as I was just outside the Amazon return window and was given a full refund for the shower. On a side note: For the cost, if you are willing to do a bit of soldering in the power plug, and upgrade the seal at the shower head, it still makes a pretty good battery powered shower. It has good pressure at the head. I am assuming all of these inexpensive ones would have similar problems. I am now looking for another alternative.

didn't last long before problems
out of the box: setup was easy and simple. will leak badly at the handle unless you install the 2 supplied rubber washers (which are easy to miss or lose from the box). the flow regulator on the shower head was very stiff and hard to move which makes it next to useless. on/off switch works, but feels very cheap. if you drop the plastic shower head on something hard it will likely break from the feel of it- not much there for durability.during use: used it pumping clean room temperature water from a 5 gallon bucket. worked fine for the first bucket full, seemed to move adequate water to the height of the factory hose. suddenly stopped pumping after 1 gallon from the second bucket full with motor pitch going up at the same time (from the loss of load most likely). motor still turned, plastic impeller seemed to be turning when i looked down with the filter removed, no kinks or blockages in the hose. drained all the water from it as instructions said before trying again (several times), but still no pumping. i suspect the plastic impeller or housing has wear issues or a defect. got frustrated and tossed it aside in favor of a reliable plastic cup.conclusion: treat it like a disposable- don't expect it to last long when you buy it and have a spare on hand for when it stops working. maybe yours will last longer and i just got a lemon. or just spend the extra to buy something better quality to start with.

A great disposable shower head
I bought two. The first one worked the whole 3 day trip. We stay at a very rudimentary cabin in Mexico. No hot water. I use it top pup water heated on a stove from a 5 gallon bucket. Used a motorcycle battery to power it up. A little motorcycle battery lasted two 5 gallon each showers. Cool.Put it away and opened it up the next year for the same trip. Motor is frozen. OK, lesson learned. Cup shower this trip. Next year bought another. Worked fine. After the trip I lubed it up with some WD40 so it wouldn't seize up in storage. Year later I open it up at the cabin and the motor works! Cool. But the plastic to the hose is busted in the bag. I rig it up with some clamps and a minute into the shower the plastic to the pump inlet falls apart. Zip ties and try a shower again the next day and another part of the pump falls apart. These were $30 each. But now they are $10 each. Probably so they can dump inventory. But at $10 each? I'm buying two. I'll lube them up after use and treat them as if they were made from glass in a proper case. If they dies? Meh... $10 for a nice shower for 4 day weekend is ok. I'm nothing if I cant get a shower to start the day.Look at them as disposable and you wont be all sad.

Best used with bucket/large opening jug
Only "issue" was that the suction head does not fit the typical 5-gal drinking water jug.

It works, but with some caveats
The shower works well and has enough power to get decent flow even when fully stretched upwards. Obviously it's not a proper house shower and it's certainly not even close to a pressure washer, but that's not the purpose of this device. In terms of power and usability, I'd give this 5 stars. So how come the 3-star review? Well, the thing leaked at the seams from day one. I ended up having to use a combination of teflon tape and epoxy to stop the leakage. With those modifications, it works like a champ, but you shouldn't have to have to make modifications to it just to get it to work 100%. Thus, it only gets 3 stars.Another annoying thing: you operate the valve by pushing a metal bar back and forth. The metal bar has two caps that are screwed in. Those caps love to fall off. I ended up losing one of them and had to put a blob of epoxy on its place. If I were to buy this again, I'd just super glue the caps in place.

Exactly what I needed
This thing is awesome. I got it for my boat, because salt water. Also bought a 5 gallon jug to use with it. Tried it yesterday and it works great.

Motor froze up
We purchased this shower head for dispersed camping purposes. The pressure and easy of use was good. However, we only got to use it on one trip. While planning another trip, I tried the shower to make sure it still worked. Glad I did! i believe the motor assembly must fill with water while in use, and it probably rusted because it no longer works. Purchase it as a disposable item.

Leaked and appeared used on delivery
Product appeared used (scratches in a number of areas on the shower head and hose) when delivered and had a defective gasket where the shower head connects to the hose. Seemed to be functional if it didn't leak. Returned the product.

Fits 5cm nozzle on water container
Had to review after being given incorrect information in the Q&A. Just received and cannot wait to give it a go.Anyway I asked if the pump would drop into (fit) through the nozzle of a 20l water jerry can/container. I was informed it would not. Incorrect answer ... IT DOES. Now I won't have to mess around with buckets or even adapt the jerry can.Beware of false answer answers.

Didn't last long
Received this product 9 mths ago, to use while camping. Initially, it was very good, the flow rate was far better than I expected - A 12 litre water container lasted a generous 6 to 8 minutes, which is plenty of time for a quick shower. BUT unfortunately after 9 mths (used only occasionally over that period), the motor siezed up. While trying to find fault, we discovered the switch components were also showing extreme signs of rust. Made with cheap components that are not designed to last. Shame, because it was good while it was working. Now binned.

Great all rounder and a must for dog walkers
Brilliant bit of kit. Comes in a waterproof bag with a hook and suction cup to hang the head on to something if necessary. Extra long power cord and good quality hose attached. Pump is easily powerful enough and has a volume of water valve allowing the user to restrict or increase water output as required. Just ensure that you have a large enough water canister as it does get through the water quite fast. Used ours for washing dogs off after muddy walks. A must to avoid Alabama rot.

Far better than I expected
Purchased because we had no hot water in the house due to a cylinder failure and we knew it was going to take some time to get fixed. We have a thermostatic shower so needed a quick alternative. I ordered this through Prime and got it same day. Filled a large bucket with very warm water and it worked way better than expected. Now our hot water is working again we don't really need it but I could see how it would be great for camping or washing a dog outside. If you need one buy this version, but don't go for the 10 ltr Jerry Can advertised alongside as the shower pump won't fit through the neck of the cap.

Good shower pressure, good length.
Bought this after testing one of the bag showers and being very dissapointed, although need 12v much better, and can actually shower with it, unlike the bags that weight too much for my shower tent and others, this removes that issue as ultra light and plenty of length to the head unit.Much better than the solar bags.
