Considering it's a book on the festival of cherry blossoms there's hardly any cherry blossom photos. Also I thought it being national geographic the images would be stunning there not anything special at all.

This is a wonderful book, the photographs are SO, SO beautiful and the information very interesting. I have been to Japan in cherry blossom season, now I so want to try again to go to our capital for this beautiful event, I tried once and my job caused me not to be able to go, but I really have to get there now that I am retired. You will love this book, buy it. Daunn Munn.

I was impressed with the amazing photographs and the history of the cherry blossom festival. The lovely pictures reminded me of an enterprising beaver that tried to chew up some of the trees. This book will serve as a constant reminder of the beauty of spring and the fabulous cherry trees. I liked it so much I bought another copy for a friend.

This is a beautifully written and photographed book. I used it as a "welcome" gift for guests who were visiting me during the Cherry Blossoms. It is affordable and a great souvenir of a very special time -- Spring in Washington DC

I really liked this book. It explained some of the history of cherry blossoms. I also liked the part in the book where they name the different types of blossoms and show pictures. It is just beautiful.
