My birds thank you!! Especially during those super cold snowy days
This is the 4th time purchasing this seed & itโs always amazing. Bag never damaged & seed is perfect in condition & perfect in size for the large variety of birds that frequent my many feeders. If the seed is too large itโs hard for my tiny birds like the yellow & purple finches to easily eat. I put the sunflower medium chips in 2 of my Brome Squirrel Buster Plus feeders & works well with no clogging or seed falling to the ground with these feeders. Also this large bag is a good value & very convenient as I was buying very small bags from Walmart & they never had but about 4-5 bags so I was always running out then this last year I canโt even find it there anymore. I have found the full sized chips (seeds) at one other farm store but again bags very small & value is less. Also the full sized are not the size I prefer as stated above. My backyard looks like Grand Central Birdie Station.

Good quality sunflower chips
Arrived as scheduled in a large heavy weight paper bag. Seed chips are the correct size, are relatively clean, and had very few foreign objects (other grains, sticks, etc) in the bag. They are very similar to the smaller packages I have purchased at pet and grocery stores. Birds love them from my feeder. Best price per pound I have found thus far.

Fresh & clean seed
Sometimes it is risky to purchase birdseed online. This is my 2nd 50lb bag and the quality is excellent. No dust when I emptied the bag into the storage can.

Great for wild birds
If you've never fed sunflower pieces to wild birds, almost everything likes it, and the finches -- which normally can't crack sunflower shells -- even preferred it to thistle, which I quit feeding. I only gave it a four star because I THINK you sold it cheaper; I think your price was the least expensive around a year or two ago. With the price at 85$ for 50 pounds, it is still a good deal compared to nearly all other people selling similar products in smaller bags, but it's now a little more expensive per pound than I can get "hearts" at the local farm supply store. Still, it's a 50 pound bag, delivered to my house, and I don't live as close to the farm supply store as I did in the past.

The Birds Can't Get Enough of This Feed
This is really a 50 lbs. bag of complete sunflower hearts, not chips. To me that's an advantage. I see the complaints about the product's not being chips and harder for the smaller birds to eat, but when you put out un-shelled sunflower seeds the birds get entire hearts anyway, and don't have any problem breaking them with their bills. This feed is very clean and free of foreign matter. I couldn't find a better price. We have five feeders around our property and the birds seem most attracted to the several filled with these sunflower hearts.

Very happy with the product and the timely delivery.
We just got our order so I am not yet able to share what our birds and squirrels think of the sunflower seeds but I am delighted with the timely delivery and the beautiful bag they used to packaging. One thing did take me off guard- the shipping box had a Jimmy dean sausages label (30lbs of frozen pork sausages). I was wracking my brain who would send me sausages- then was pleasantly surprised. I will update my review once our wildlife weigh in. Iโm sure they will love them and Iโll be glad not to clean up sunflower seed shells. ๐

Bag is full of flying insects and maggots
I opened the bag just now for the first time and the bag is full of flying insects and maggots. I can not use this seed at all. I had to throw out the entire bag and sanitize my can as they reached the inside of the can. I use a stainless steel can. It was the first time and will be the last. The seed should not have went bad that quickly.
