A mighty morphing deal
My inner child beams every time I look at this sword in my room. Looks great, sound quality mirrors what was heard from the show. I was surprised with how much it weighs it's got some density behind it. The blade is hard plastic and it extends and retracts as expected. It's definitely something I wouldn't buy a younger kid seeing as how the quality of this particular sword is better than the more toy-ish version it is more for collectors or perhaps even a prop in a cosplay outfit. Seriously anybody who has nostalgia as bad as I did you owe it yourself to check this out and perhaps get one for yourself. Easily worth the near 100 dollars spent you really can't go wrong owning one of these as part of your collection.

Wonderful addition to the Legacy collection!
This really is a great item. This Sword is very well-made. It doesn't have nearly as much die-cast metal as the Dragon Dagger but it and it's effects are still great. As far as it's conversion from a dagger to a sword, they should have gone with interchangeable blades or just decided to have it as it's sword mode because the blade slides out a little from the base to represent the conversion but there is not much of a difference so I simply keep mine as the sword. These are pricey but I don't regret my purchase at all.The voice is directly from on-screen dialog and is nice and clear.

AMAZING! I had this sword when I was a kid when it first came out, of course the version I had back then was fully made of plastic pieces. This sword is heavy and comes with some diecast parts on it. Feels great in your hand, definitely not a toy for the kids to go swinging around, it can clonk someone on the head and knock them out if swung hard enough.Saba talks and makes noises as expected. All around great collectors item for anyone who was a huge fan of the white ranger.

Brings me back to my childhood
The sword showed up a day early and was in great shape. The box containing the sword was in good condition and as soon as i saw it, i knew it was worth the buy. The motor is a little loud but hearing the theme song play is amazing. Now have it on display and recommend to any Power Rangers fan.

Collector piece more than toy; still could be better. (updated)
Honestly, I'm still giving this a "4" because of the nostalgia. Beats the original by miles. For what it is, there's incredible detail and features, not to mention it's the right size. I had the original when I was five as a dream Christmas present. I literally had it for less than a week because of I-don't-even-know-what at a holiday party, so this has huge sentimental value....but objectively, it really could've been better. The mating at the hilt and crossguard is noticeably not all that robust. They're separate entities, both of which hold a lot of mass. It becomes a buzzkill because if you're having a throwback MMPR/childhood moment wanting to do some spins or something, you stop short because you hear a creak upon just holding it at the hilt, and just know too well it could fail. I don't know why this couldn't be designed more strategically as it's a glaring observation out the box. Even if the "clawed ends" are metal, the hilt and junction of the crossguard are plastic. I feel like the mold could've been more continuous. The whole saber creaks when you handle it. Another slight issue is that the servo for Saba's jaw is jokingly loud."But it's a collector's/display item!" It is/was being sold by Bandai at Toys R Us and has an electronics a package to make sound effects; and anyone who was a Power Rangers fan would love to do more than just let it set on a shelf. That's just a reality in my view: it's still a toy. If it was going to be a dedicated display piece, they should've gone all out. I don't really call this a good "in-between", because it really could've been built with a better presentation as a display and durability as a toy.Ultimately, I have zero regrets buying it. I legitimately like it as the 4 stars would imply per Amazon's scale. If you're a Power Rangers fan from the 90's, and especially if the Green/White Ranger was your favorite, I'd totally say to go get it; because really, it's like the only option on the market apart from some static Comic-Con stuff and the also-crude original.UPDATE: One thing I'm gonna remark after a few months is that the gold finish at the cross guard is prone to peeling a bit after some heat and abrasion, revealing a bare silver metal finish. Kinda lame but let it do so naturally and it kinda gives off an aged look. Hasn't been bad enough that I'd drop my rating.
