These guys are more powerful than I expected !I like them, and have found countless uses for them.My original intended purpose for these was to have a pair of them tethered together by a short thin rope, to hold open a hinged, metal outdoor electrical switch control panel on a mobile generator load testing device during operations with light wind, or uneven ground.Sure was nice not to get beaned in the head repeatedly.Worked like a charm.Brian

Very strong magnets!

Better than expected. Exceptional quality

So, these seem very strong when in direct contact with heavy gauge steel. I bought them to use on magnetic glassboards, and surprisingly they are not great at that function. The 1/16" glass really prevents these from making a strong connection to the steel backplate on the glassboard.For people looking for magnets for glassboards, I would recommend looking for something a bit stronger.Also, three of the 6 magnets cracked. I guess it might be my fault but I think it's just poor design. They still work for my purposes, but overall I am disappointed in the quality and functionality.

2 arrived cracked, 1 cracked after lightly sticking on a metal surface, 1 had a manufacture default( no countersink for the screw head to sit flush in, see picture) Could not send them back, lucky Amazon refunded my money right away. These are going in the garbage because they will badly scratch your surface because they easily crack causing a rough sharp surface. First time i got a product this bad, i will be ordering from a previous seller i bought from that are 6$ more but have been used for over a year with no problems.
