It has no flouride and its all natural. I would use it on my two year old except she's finishing up her favorite princess flouride toothpaste. I'm gonna need to find toms in a princess tube. **Q: Does the fennel flavor taste like licorice - also is there any minty-burning taste with the fennel? (I'm looking for an alternative.)** A: I've been using the fenel toothpaste for moths. It has absolutely no minty flavor....order only the fennel and you will be ok. I am on chemotherapy and the mint toothpastes burn my mouth.
