The aluminum foil method works SO much better, but that's a small thing, that isn't against the company whatsoever, more so I wish I had realized this before buying the clips.I love the files. I use all of them for doing my own gel nails at home. The Gray one is the roughest and I use that one to really dig into my gel nails when I'm wanting to remove them completely, and also if I need to file off the hard skin beside my nails. The purple one is perfect for fixing minor imperfections in your nails, and even filing the sides and the free edge of your nails. The green one is a buffer on one side and a super light file on the other. I haven't really needed the green file much, but it is very delicate and nice.The actual buffer that comes with it, I don't really have a need for. The cuticle pusher is great, especially with the little sticky filers that you can put on the end. Helps to get near the cuticle if you have a sensitive cuticle area or a sore there, it can help a lot to use that versus a file.
