I test my glucose/ketones and generate my GKI every morning. The first day I used it, it seemed accurate and matched with the keto sticks I was using. The problem came today....I have been getting 0.0 readings all morning, but the kicker is that I haven't eaten or drank anything at all but plain old water since the last time I blew in it before bed. I do OMAD, so I don't eat all day. I only eat once I get home, usually around 7ish. So I got a 6.9 reading right before I went to bed. How is it possible that I'm getting a 0.0 reading when I haven't eaten anything? Also, I can taste the acetone in my mouth, so the fact that it's not detecting any acetone at all is strange. Maybe mine is broken. The $150 is starting to bother me now. I feel like I wasted my money. I think I will be returning this device. Update: I missed the return window so I kept it, but I just had to come back and say that this thing is trash.
