It looks classy, it's comfortable, and great quality for a good price. ### ⭐⭐ Disappointing. *by S***G on November 25, 2019* As a vintage watch collector, I buy a lot of watch bands. Because I don't wear most watches every single day, I look for lower-priced bands that still must meet a threshold of quality and style. I have purchased several DeBeer bands in the past and have been generally pleased.This band was neither pleasing nor did it meet the standard. The band itself is a black suede in 17mm I purchased for a vintage Bulova Commander B. Firstly, the leather, while acceptable in quality, is very thin. But, for my purposes, not a bad thing. But, it also seemed a tad less than 17mm which I found odd.Then comes the problem with the buckle. It comes with both gold- and silver-tone buckles that can be swapped out. It came with the gold one on the band. No big deal as they're pretty easy to change out. Well, it should have been. Firstly, the style of buckle differed depending on color. The silver-tone buckle was noticibly cheaper and thinner than the gold. I looked in the little zip-lock bag for the silver-tone pin for the buckle and discovered there was none! So, I would have a silver buckle with a gold pin sticking up through the hole in the band making a nice mismatched look!As it was, I had a spare silver-tone buckle with matching silver-tone pin from a previously purchased band (from another maker) which fit so I used that one on this DeBeer suede band. I was disappointed in this purchase. It should have included ALL the needed hardware, the silver-tone or chrome buckle should have been the same style as the gold and the band width should have been a full 17mm.
