Swizzels Matlow Parma Violets Giant (Pack Of 5)

Love these. Not overly sweet but just enough to be good. Great flavor. Great value with lots included in an order. They smell lovely and are quality Parma Violets.

I REALLY like these! My sister had a few when she came back from england and I really liked the flavor. Unlike the stronger violet candies you can buy here, these Swizzels had a nice soft flavor. The violet is the taste of british picnics, of favorite matron aunts who would always have these in her oversized purse. Not fizzy, or overly sugary, they are big enough to offer a satisfying bite halfway through. This was my second order and I hate myself for knowing i will be ordering them again. Candy via amazon? Maybe i DO have a problem.

Love, love, love these! Even my 5 granddaughters have caught on to these and love to eat them with refreshers or fizzers! Such a nice subtle flavor. These are a nice sweet that melts in your mouth, almost. Not too hard and not too soft. I bought the box of 24 rolls so as to have a good supply of them.

I had never tried these, until recently, as I was never exposed to them. I have long loved violets, their appearance, their scent, and their flavor. They bring back memories of the past, as violets have always been in or around the homes I have lived. Parma Violets are also good when you eat one with a Fizzer candy or the Kind Hearts by Swizzle, too, because it gives a nice tang that compliments the violet taste so well. I don't like that candy is so ridiculously expensive!

I bought these to try. The violet flavor is super strong and if it didn't have sugar, I'd grind it up to use as potpourri. I couldn't disguise the flavor enough to make it palatable.

Taste and smell are the best things for your recollections. The smell and taste transported to my happy times as a child in the 50s & 60s.

Candy flavored with violets. Violets. Yeah, the flower. If you've never tried a botanical candy (Parma Violets, Simpkin's Rose candies), treat yourself to a taste adventure. These are good, big rolls, plenty to share...and a good price. QA candy classic everyone should try at least once.

Now obviously there aren't many things to a sweet food purchase review but here is what I though about the service I received: 1. The products are genuine, you aren't being ripped off. 2. Delivery was quicker than estimated by amazon. (FREE Super Saver Delivery, estimated 5-7 days, arrived in just 4! All in all, good purchase!

These are great and they taste like they did 50 years ago when they came in the tiny size only.

These are absolutely brilliant! Great for my 1950/60's party. They look and smell lovely. I haven't succumbed to the temptation of tasting them YET! They are perfect for my nostalgic party bags. Thank you.
