Okay so I have never written a review before but I want to leave my opinion on this; i've tried a bunch of different dove deodorants, i've tried the hello brand. i've tried antiperspirant ones, i have tried ones with no aluminum, etc... i have always struggled with my armpits and ONLY my armpits being sweaty. as a woman in her 20's, you can imagine how embarrassing it is. I was scared to wear my nice tops and let alone outside. Even if I sit in my room doing nothing, my armpits sweat. If I go outside? No matter how little or a lot I put, I would sweat and get stains on my shirts.After a ton of looking around I had this one wishlisted for awhile but never bought it until about two weeks ago... I waited a bit to give opinions as well. But today sealed the deal for me. I went outside for multiple hours through rainy weather that then turned hot and while I sweat elsewhere; i did not sweat a single time in my armpits. I wasn't afraid to put on a nicer shirt today, I even went to the fitting room and freely tried on shirts without being worried or embarrassed my armpits would ruin them.This really works! JUST FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS!! A lot of the bad reviews are from people who put this immediately after a shower or shaving. I followed the directions and did not experience any harsh burning, itching, or bruising. At some point my armpit did burn slightly- I won't lie. That is because I did three swipes. It wasn't a painful burn and went away after about a day. This week I went with two swipes and I think it depends on your needs and how much you sweat- but two was perfect for me. No irritation, no burns, no darkening, and I was able to go out and be sweat free.My last thing I'll say is that I see other reviews that say they put other deodorant on top as this one doesn't smell like anything. I would recommend that too. The first week I was too afraid to mix and match. The first few days I didn't sweat and had no smell- fine by me. But by the end of the week it was beginning to smell and sweat again. This week, after it was dry, I decided on two swipes of the usual dove one I was using and it's worked for me. Certain dri keeps me from sweating, dove has kept me smelling nice.For the price, I can't complain. Again, I've tried $10+ deodorants, I've tried cheap ones, brand name, random drug store ones... I will never go back after using this one. If you are like me and scared to wear your nicer clothes and excessively sweat, try this out. Just again, FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS. This is NOT meant to be put on right after a shower like other ones. This can be your best friend if you follow instructions and use it lightly once a week. I'm looking forward to see how it holds up for me during the summer but so far, it's worked wonders and my confidence is going up being able to wear all the nice blouses and shirts I've been holding onto for this day where I found a deodorant that contained my sweat!

I’ve always had problems with sweating too much for no reason. My obesity likely contributes to it, but I’ve been back in the gym 5-6 times a week for 2 months so I’ll be in great shape in a few more months. But even when I was playing football at 15% body fat I would sweat just walking around school. I would soak my underarms and smell really bad.I use this product mainly to stop sweating at work. Currently I’m working a desk job with A/C at around 74-75°F but poor circulation. Without using this antiperspirant I’ll sweat like crazy.I wear a long sleeve shirt, and even when I’m sweating everywhere else my armpits stay completely dry. There is not a single drop of sweat on my underarms at the end of the day and my shirt still smells completely fresh. That’s something I’ve never experienced, and I’m incredibly satisfied with this product.Another thing I like—probably unintentional—is that the product is not strong enough to block sweat at the gym, at least not for me, so I can still sweat when I workout. Really that’s how your body should function in the first place.I apply this product every night after 30 mins out of the shower, right before bed. In the morning I shower again to get rid of the extra residue. You can scrub your underarms and the product will still work, however it has to be a cold shower or it will not work. Around 15 mins later I apply Old Spice deodorant.An important thing to note is that Certain Dri is not a deodorant. It does not prevent bacteria and it does not have a scent. You need to apply a deodorant that prevents the bacteria from growing, otherwise if you sweat even a little bit the odor causing bacteria can gather on your armpits.Update: After using this for a couple months, the itch started to become unbearable to the point where I had to wash it off in the shower because I couldn’t sleep. This was mostly my fault, I still use this stuff consistently. But I highly recommend only applying it every 1-3 days, once I started using it this way the itch disappeared completely. As far as effectiveness, my armpits are no longer bone dry, but this product 100% makes a difference so I still give it 5 stars.

Definitely not sensitive skin friendly. First time using this it set my armpits on fire and irritated my skin; however, for the first time in 2 years I'm not sweating though shirts 5 minutes after putting them on. I'm sure as I use this product my skin will adapt and the burning will stop, so over the few couple of weeks Ill use it as my skin can handle it.

I want to preface this by saying that I have hyperhydrosis and have truly tried everythinggg. I am also a holistic person, and have had people in my family unfortunately pass from breast cancer, so obviously I’m not crazy about having to use aluminum deodorant. Unfortunately, the amount I sweat and the odor I produce constantly is just not sustainable nor tolerable for me. I’ve tried Lume, solid crystal deodorant, all kinds of other natural deodorant aside from homemade paste, and a myriad of commercial antiperspirant deodorants. I found that the creamy based ones felt awful under my arms, got on everything and were overall just nasty, and the gel based ones usually had an unpleasant odor and were sticky. This is just odorless liquid that you roll on! I wore a long sleeve shirt that always triggers my sweating the most, a fleece sweatshirt during work (on top of the long sleeve) worked for 9 hours, and wore a huge carhart over that afterwards. I don’t smell at all and my pits aren’t even wet to touch, which is genuinely insane to me!Of course, we know the risk of aluminum. If you don’t have hyperhydrosis, please look for an alternative that’s better for you. Settle for this if you genuinely have no other option, life if you are plagued by sweating and smelling and you can’t function without a solution, and can’t afford surgery like me, try this deodorant. It’s so cheap, and it truly works as listed.
