Memphis MJM822 8" 900W RMS Dual 2-Ohm MOJO Series Subwoofers

Built my own stealth box , I used this speaker because it had the size requirements of depth and volume of area I had to work with. I made the error of adding the port to the inner cu ft, so made my 1.0 cuft box into .79 cubic foot. Regardless, the sub absolutely pounds for being an 8” hooked up to a older school soundstream tarantula at 2 ohms and 1000w, boost turned downnn, moves a lot of air. I’d recommend using a sealed box if you only have 1.0 cu ft to work with. I’m assuming a 1.5 + box would allow this sub to take on some more power. Seemed pretty hungry just couldn’t really breath in my small box. Overall would recommend this sub to anyone. I get heads turning. People don’t believe me when I say it’s one 8Edit: I popped the sub into an old 10” labyrinth box, that I modified with a single piece of MDF for the 7.3 cutout. Just as I suspected, it can and will handle more power in a bigger box/ bigger port. It really doesn’t need more power, as there is a huge difference when it has plenty of air space, compared to not enough. Loud enough to knock stuff off the walls when you pull up!! AAA+++

I went thru so many set ups trying to get a good deep bass sound and I put two of these 8 in my truck and that was a wrap love these subs worth every penny.

Great Subwoofer. Currently running 500 watts RMS @ 1ohm. Not for any SPL competitions, but it bumps! Love the way it sounds. Highly encourage you take a look at the Mojo. We have it in a revised enclosure in our 2013 Sequoia. Looks factory.

I've seen a lot of negative comments!! Let me be the first to say these things BANG!! I've had 4 massive 8's and 3 shallow mount sundown 12's and neither compares to these 4 little monsters!! Very deep bass!! Shakes everything on my truck!! Definitely worth the money 💰 👌🏿
