As far as dirt goes, this was pretty clean.
I'd just bought a new plant and as I lovingly caressed it with this potting soil it was like it was saying: "Yes. Thank you. This is where I belong. This feels like... home." Despite what can only be described as lackluster watering and attention on my part, the plant is doing great. Thanks dirt!

Contains fungus gnats.
This soil is not for the indoor potted plant. It contains a number of fungus gnat eggs. Otherwise, it is better than Miracle Grow (R) potting soils, so far. It absorbs water readily. Whereas, Miracle Grow (R) acts somewhat like duck feathers; If they stay wet long enough the water will soak in.This is a 5 pound bag. Slightly higher price than others.Advise: freeze the bags for a few days to kill bug eggs.

Great! Has fungal spores in it, so use something like Gnatrol to control fungal gnat populations that will feed off that fungus.
