Good and fresh
If you are an Austrian ex-pat like myself and concerned about the freshness of this product, worry not. I was surprised at how good they are, better than the ones that we have packed into a suitcase and brought with us on a plane ourselves, and much better than the product we sometimes find at local stores here in the Boston area. The price is not unreasonable and I would purchase this product again.

All melted into one.
The product came all melted together with white edges. It was one big ball of candy. I was able to separate them. The tats was still ok, but because of the condition, I will never reorder again.

If you like bananas then you will love this!
Chocolate covered banana mousse! Who wouldn't love it. I have been giving this away to friends for Christmas for years now and they always have it gone a few days. IT is really delicious!

A Unique Taste, but a Good One Too
I looked around before purchasing to try and get a feel for what these were and believe me it was difficult. The love and hate seems to be split straight down the middle for these but while people were keen on telling you how much they loathe/love it, they didn’t really tell you why or what it is. So I’m going to attempt to do that.Let me say that I think half the complaints could have been avoided if the candy had been appropriately labeled. Perhaps “crème” refers to a different or broader range of candy fillings in other countries, but in the West it exclusively refers to that mousse-like fluffy mallow that you find in most assorted chocolate boxes. This is not what this is, and I’m sure just like myself it threw a lot of people off. This is almost like a gel, very squishy, has more substance to it, and because it’s actual banana puree it has more solid bits inside it. It’s also not sweet like you expect of crèmes. Instead it’s semi-sweet but with a substantial tartness to the taste like you might expect from an unripened banana. The consistency lies somewhere between the titular crème and a quiche (weird example I know, but only similar consistency I can think of off the top of my head). The chocolate is also far less sweet than you’re expecting. It’s not dark chocolate but it’s not traditional milk chocolate either. Treading some strange middle-line I’ve never tasted before. It’s not super strong, it has a tangy aftertaste reminiscent of mild dark chocolates, but with a hint of sweetness to it. It also is applied in a very thin layer so you get roughly equal amounts of the “crème” and the chocolate; this has the side-effect of giving the chocolate a satisfying crunch instead of feeling like an excessive chewy deluge of savory chocolate. These combine to form a strange beast. At first I think had the same reaction as some others I’ve read online, the fact that this quite clearly wasn’t crème (as far as western definitions go) mixed with the mild, tart, and all around uncommon flavors and consistencies on play here threw me off. As a knee-jerk reaction I wasn’t very happy. But when I tried another…and then another…and then another they quickly began to grow on me. Once I stopped trying to compare them to the fruit crèmes you get in your average assorted chocolate box I found they not only had their own unique flavor, but a good one at that.I definitely recommend them to someone who likes banana and chocolate and is looking for something different. If you can toss your preconceptions about what you might expect from the name alone aside you’ll find that it’s mighty tasty.

Candy Chocolate-Covered Bananas
These are so good, one of the best candies I've had. The inside is a light, fluffy, almost spongy banana flavor, and then it's covered in a thin layer of chocolate. The combination is just delicious and very light. Just one is enough to satisfy my sweet tooth, so a box lasts me for a good amount of time.
