I would t recommend for really heavy chewers as the stuffing came out fairly quickly. But the ropes (legs) are stronger. It is a cute toy and my dog was entertained by the squeaker (different than the usual)

My dog LOVED this toy. He loves pulling off the "fur" from his toys, making them squeak, and pulling on a rope. This toy really fulfilled all avenues. During the first week, he wanted to bring the toy with him everywhere! He generally does not pull toys apart right away so it lasted us about a month before he finally pulled out the stuffing. I would not recommend this toy to dogs that like to destroy toys immediately though since this toy is not designed to be durable for that kind of play. I'd suggest throwing the toy away too once they get into the stuffing since the "giggler" looks like it may be hazardous to a dog that might swallow it curiously. That said if you supervise then this toy is fine. Just don't leave this toy out for your dog to play with while the house is empty.Overall, I cannot stress how much my dog loved this toy and I will be definitely be purchasing it again! Make sure to use with supervision though.

The fabric on the middle section is very thin and tears easily. I have owned several dog toys over the years and this is the most easily damaged fabric that I have seen on a toy. After one play session, the fabric was torn. It is too bad because the toy is very cute otherwise.

Well my 16 week lab mix puppy LOVED this. Maybe more than any other squeaky toy she's had. It was hilarious. It also did not last an hour. She is not a particularly rough chewer and has never otherwise disemboweled a toy on day one, or two, or three. So although it was super fun to watch her with it and toss it around--omg that noise!! It really is quite chickeny--I don't think I will be spending another $8 on this anytime soon. I did save the ridiculous noise maker and plan on sewing it into a sturdier toy.

Great dog toy. My dogs love them. Have gone through 4 so far. Worth the money.

Cute and a good idea, but needs some improvements. The darker brown body fabric is extremely thin and easy to rip, and the giggle tube frequently gets stuck. Wings, head, and legs are holding up well, though.

I gave it 5 stars because my dogs loved it. Like most toys, they destroyed it within a few days... but those few days they were kept entertained while I worked. My dogs won't play with the kevlar or rubber "tough" toys... so we are constantly buying these types of toys. Again, they loved it.If you are looking for a toy to last, this is probably not what you are looking for. But to keep a pup busy, this will work for at least a short period of time.

The media could not be loaded. I've waited 6 months to write this review of the Gigglers Chicken from Ethical Pets. Our house has two ferocious tiny dogs who have regularly eviserated and gutted every stuffed animal in a matter of days... that is until I started buying Ethical Pet dog toys.Everyday when I come home from work, Jack and Coke bring me the chicken to play fetch and set about trying their best to abuse and rip him apart. They delight in kicking this chicken's ass and always tire out before the chicken.Today, Coke finally got the best of the chicken. It's been 6 months of hard wear and tear between two dogs before a seam finally burst. Other brands of stuffed dog toys lasted 3 days tops before I was mending and sewing and re stuffing only to finally give up, throw it away and buy another toy that wouldn't last until the end of the week. Giggler Chicken has served us well and put up a great fight. I'll happily be buying another one today and retiring this one.
