Can the tuner be used on guitars aswell or just ukulele ?

It would work for a guitar too - it tells you what note the string currently plays and you loosen / tighten as needed to get the correct note.

Any advice on keeping this in Tune? Think i have a dud as it just goes straight out of tune as soon as ive tunes it?

Hi, I think it’s normal when you first start- my little girl has just started playing and it sometimes needs retuning in the course of her 30 minute lesson! I think it gets better as it ages 🤞 we use GuitarTuna app - it has a ukulele setting and really quick and easy to tune with this! Hope that helps x
