These are NOT for hunting and they are not made of breathable material
I admit it, I took a chance on a low cost item. What they are is a waterproof, vinyl gaiter.What they are not is breathable, not that THAT is the issue. If I wore these out bow hunting,I would never be able to get close to an animal. Made of the nosiest, most synthetic soundingmaterial possible. I give them 1 star for false advertising.

Great product at a great price FIVE STARS
The worked perfect for my trip. I got these to go on an elk hunting trip in Colorado. I was hunting in some of the steepest and roughest terrain in Colorado and during my 5 day hunt it snowed 3 times the greatest amount was 8 inches and it was no problem for the gaiters. Not only do they lock on the heal of the boot they also have a clip that hooks them to the toe of your boot so they don’t ride up had no problems with snow. Great product I would definitely recommend them and would purchase them again.

I used them in the planes of Texas. Worked great from keeping the grass hoppers out of my boots. I did sweat really crazy, my pants were soaking wet. I would Buy them again. The price was right

Great product, works well
These gators got me through a couple of hunting trips walking through sagebrush and thick Palo Verde thickets. They worked great with preventing snags and rips despite a few miles of walking. They are indeed waterproof as they kept my pants dry while walking through dew filled meadows. I recommend these overall.

They are exactly as I envisioned
Though I haven't worn them in the more extreme conditions they are built well and I expect they will more than amply do the job.

To small for guys with muscular calves !
If I had skinny bird legs they would get a five star, but I have to wear thin tapered pants to get them on. Once I do they are great. F you go to the gym and work on your calves good luck. If your a girl, or have legs like a girl, they will be great.

Material is nice, but constant adjustments needed
I hike often and these were just okay. The strap came loose every 5 minutes and would get caught on rocks and sticks easily making a 3 mile hike through the forest longer than need be. However, they are very warm and the material is nice, thick, and anti snagging for those thorn bushes.
