It was lightweight but sturdy enough to do the job and do it well it was long enough that you could drag it through your yard so that you don’t have a pile wet by the pool. This evac hose is by far the best hose I have ever purchased for my pool in 25 years. It's made of the thickest material I have seen for a pool evac hose. This will last for years. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Really moves water, rolls up flat *by S***A on May 13, 2020* Bought this to hook up to sump pump hose. This hose is 1.5 inches. Sump hose was 1.25, but would not fit inside. Had to use a reducer to 1 inch to get it to fit. I should have bought the 2 inch hose. Whatever size you think you need, go bigger, and but hose clamps. Overall, its sturdy and works well. Drains well. Works best I'll n straight line or slight curve. Folds if you curve it too much. Gets heavy when rolling up 100 ft.
