Atlantis Toy and Hobby Earth Vs The Flying Saucers Model Kit Retro UFO Space Ship w/ Easy Assembly

This is a really simple and neat kit to have. My only complaint would be the support stand but other than that I would definately recommend this model for anyone, even the novice model builder.

I have both the Skyhook Models resin kit and this (Atlantis kit).The Skyhook kit has better dimensional accuracy to the original large film miniature. The Atlantis kit is too tall in contrast to its width dimensions.(Looks like the dimensions for the Atlantis kit were gleaned from a film screen image grab that had lens distortion in that image.)This kit continues the long legacy of inaccurate plastic model kits related to miniatures used in the motion picture industry….. When will the model kit manufactures learn, we only want ACCURATE models, not something that is vaguely close.This kit also has some fairly serious sink holes that will need to be filled, especially if your planning on painting it with a highly reflective paint scheme.I did like the LED blinky-thingy that came with the kit, it will make a good cat toy.

Light didn't work and model was cheaply made and smaller than expected, save your money

The movie was my favorite sci-fi of all time. The model is what was described and presented, no surprises. But.... the batteries were dead for the flashing LED light, but figured it was in stock for awile, easily got replacement batteries. I've waited a long time for this model, satisfied. I wish someone would make a larger scale.

I loved this model, and it was easy to assemble. I was only disappointed that the rotating rings (also called bezels, or flutes) for the upper and lower carriages, did not spin.

Not worth 50.00 but still a good kit!
