Drills Granite
So far, so good. This bit drills through granite pretty quickly. I'd say 20-30 seconds for a 6" deep hole. I can't really speak to the longevity yet but there is a guarantee that if the cutter breaks before the wear lines are gone that DEWALT will replace it. I expect it to last.

Got the Job Done
I bought this bit to use with feathers & wedges to break up some rocks. It tore through granite boulders with ease.

got about 60 or 70 holes out of this bit drilling in granite not concrete.

UPDATED REVIEW FROM 5 STAR TO 2 STAR The quality of these bits is hit or miss. Some last more than a day of drilling while others actually melt down in the first few holes. See photos. The No Break Guarantee seems dubious at best. When I attempted a claim on several of these, Dewalt informed me that they do not warranty drill bits. I pushed back and included a screenshot of the guarantee which they then agreed to replace my drill bits as “ a one time courtesy “ and that the bits have to be purchased within 30 days of the claim. There is no mention of timeframe on the Dewalt website in regard to the No Break Guarantee. We will see if these bits show up and if they will honor their advertised guarantee moving forward.

Breaks easily
The tip broke off after 30 holes. I contacted DeWalt for their "no break guarantee" as the wear marks are still visible. They said that they don't warranty drill bits so either the advertising is B.S. or the person I was talking with is incompetent. Fortunately it was within a few days of purchase so Amazon refunded me.

Caution using these things
Didn't get a chance to use it much. The first time using it, the tip shattered when exiting the drill hole. A bit too brittle.
