I found this swivel cushion to be a bit hard for a cushion, but it works perfectly in my kitchen chair. I can turn and reach things with ease, and get up without hurting my back or hips. On the other hand, cushion is a bit of a misnomer. It's a plastic swivel "lazy susan" covered with a bit of padding and velour-type fabric. Happily, the bottom has a grippy rubber surface, so I don't slide at all. That's likely the problem with the folks who bought this for their cars -- there's no slide-able surface on this, so sliding into the car won't work. So for the right application, this is the perfect solution. If you want it for your car, cushioned chair, recliner, etc., this isn't what you need. Too bad. The price is right and the swivel works perfectly.
Review: Works great, is pretty comfy, too! - I got this for my 90 year old grandmother to use because she has a hard time getting in and out of my VW Jetta. Now it takes her about half the time it did before, and she likes not having her dress get all scrunched up in the process. In order for this to work properly, I discovered you have to make sure there is about an inch or more distance from the back of the seat. Also, when it's time to get out, you have to be sure to scoot a little bit forward before you spin. Otherwise, your backside catches on the seat back and you can't swivel very easily. That is the only complaint Grandma has had about this, but once she tried scooting forward, then spinning, it worked just fine. Grandma says it's comfy and likes how much easier it is for her to get in and out. We've only used it for short trips around town, so I don't know how the comfort is for long trips. This little thing is just great, I would recommend it to anyone with mobility issues, although I'm not sure it would work as well for bariatric patients due to how it tends to sink into the seat when you sit on it.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ TURNING WITH EASE!

This swivel seat is wonderful and just what I needed to enter and exit my car with ease. I'm an excellent driver but have had lower body mobility issues that have made driving a challenge. Now I can sit on the swivel seat cushion and avoid the misery of adjusting my body by gently turning my body into the car and later out. Note: I'm not sure if this seat would work as easily for bodies of more than average weight. Perhaps they make this product in different sizes.
