Two Tier Sword Display Wall Rack

This product is the economical and simple solution for displaying swords, however, the photo of the product is a little deceiving. The curved headboard does not come in the package, rather you receieve a duplicate of the bottom piece with a wall mount attached. In addition you receieve no instructions what-so-ever, but the product is not that difficult to put together. The product contains two identical support boards (a footboard and an identical headboard with wall mount), two, two tier sword display wall racks, seven screws, and two plastic wall joint pieces. As stated by other reviewers, this is not a work of art and you get what you pay for.BOTTOM LINE: Although not quite as depicted, the Two Tier Sword Display Wall Rack is an easy, moderately good looking, and economical way to display swords. It arrives fast, is well packaged, but unfortunately does not come with a set of instructions.

Shipping was fast from Sword DemonIt's not a piece of art, but it does what it's supposed to do. My katana looks great on the wall. Now I just need to convince my woman that I need a danto for that empty space...Where the katana touches the rack, it's just bare wood with no padding. No complaint because it's a $10 rack. What I did though is I cut out some pieces of a black cotton T-shirt, and used double-sided adhesive to tape to the base. It's a simple fix that will give a lot of extra protection to your katana's beautiful finish.Hope this helps.TJ

As others have said, it is the absolute cheapest material humanly possible. I wouldn't be suprised if it was Styrofoam sprayed with a light dusting of 'wood' and then painted. (I'm only kidding, it is just VERY cheap 'wood'). Also, it isn't a wall mount, it is a standard shelf display with two little nail hangers attached, (notice the flat bottom side?). You can see this as a good thing, as you can use it on a wall or a shelf, or as a bad thing because it looks ugly with the flat bottom when it is on a wall. You could probably get nail hangers and add them yourself for cheaper if you look around, but if you are like me and have two swords that absolutly need to go up on a wall RIGHT NOW, this thing will get the job done.

I've said that to a few girls in my time and got slapped many times. But this rack is tops! It holds two swords very firmly and was easy to mount to the wall. I bought two of these: one to hold 2 Samurai Katanas and one to hold a Spartan 300 sword as well as a Conan replica, both of which are HEAVY! The stand holds up really well.

When I got the package I notice that it came with no instructions, which was ok because its only 4 pieces with little holes already pre drilled. And if your careful with what your doing you wont get any cracks when screwing the pieces together. But overall the wall mount looks great! Despite it being cheaply made.

The sword rack is great for the price. Just like others have said, it's easy to put together (there was a minor crack in a couple of places where the screws cut into the wood) and already has hangers mounter to the back of the display. The only thing I had a major issue with was the fact that the sword mount I received looks nothing like the one that I ordered! For just a little over $10, I feel it would be a waste of time trying to get the correct item, or more than likely spend 5 times the amount on a better quality mount, so I will stick with it, but buyer beware!! If you are considering ordering this item because you like it's particular style and look, then don't!

i got this for my Marine NCO sword....it has a nice black finish, its not to heavy, so it wont hurt your drywalls... at first they sent me a four sword display but after contacting them they went and sent me the right one at no cost...so i have 2 displays for the price of one.... outstanding customer service, fast response and fast shipping... highly recomended.....

cheap wall mount for my son's swords, easy to assemble.. works well enough.. If the swords were really high quality I would get a better display.. but for a couple of $30 Katana's bought at Comic-Con, this is good enough..
