Great quality with fiber washers
Be warned, my previous gate valve's where supplied with rubber washer, these valve's supplied with quality fiber washers! Rubber washers rel bad news they perished with heat from water and age,problem is they then leak only small amount, which is not noticeable as it drys out,then causes bad corrosion to gate valve, as mine did so not able to remove pump without draining central heating,real pain nad to remove pump from pipes then carefully cut through edge of nut on gate valve without damage to thread on pump! Fiber washers as supplied with these valve's the best.

I always change the fittings when fitting a new pump
I always change the fittings when fitting a new pump, I have found that all these types of valves weep from the turn slot after a few years, and have found its best to replace them when fitting a new / replacement pump. These new fittings have worked very well and will see how the fare in the coming years...
