These candles work great and I didn't k own they had a self timer on them. They popped on the next evening and I was pleasantly surprised! Now I want self timer candles in all my rooms!

Purchased for my Halloween porch decor. I have metal jack-o-lanterns and some metal luminaries, and I knew I wasn't going to remember to go out and light them every night. I set these to turn on at dusk, and they stayed lit until just before midnight. I didn't have to worry about fire or the batteries going dead because I forgot to turn them off. After Halloween was over I moved them to my living room and had cute and cozy lights pop on after sunset every night. I will need to purchase more in the future!

I ordered the candles thinking they came with a remote. It was my fault, I must not have read the description well. However if you are using them inside, just leave the bottoms off so they are easier to get to the on and off switch. They are good for the price and they look like the ones that come with the remote, real. I got energizer batteries and they have been lasting a while -- I leave them on for a few hours at a time and they are still going strong. Just remember there is no remote

These plastic candles are great for places where people won't necessarily get too close to them. They are made of good quality plastic, btu compared to ones actually made from wax, or even beeswax, they won't smell as good. Smell, however, was not what I wanted, I needed looks! And these look fine from a little distance (like on top of a cabinet, or behind a glass cupboard door. I own more of this brand and the battery life has been really good. The brightness is less than some others, but it is plenty good and perhaps that is what contributes to the extended battery life. Anyway, since discovering this kind of battery candle a couple of years ago I've bought multiple packages of different sizes and been happy with all of them. Recommended.

these are great - I hadn't realized that there were Outdoor Candles. The best thing is the timer so I dont have to look for the remotee

I use these candles around my pool in the Philadelphia area where we get our fair share of inclement weather. I initially purchased significantly more expensive elaborate ones from Frontgate and they died after a few weeks. I decided to give these a try and never looked back. The light provides a warm glow that is not bright. but I use them for effect. I love looking out right after sundown and seeing them turn on - and then they shut off 6-8 hours later on a timer. While they will eventually succumb to the weather (I never take them in - and some stay out through the winter) I have no problem just replacing them with another one due to the low cost. If you treat them better than I do, they’ll probably last longer!!!

Love that there’s a timer on these candles, makes it much more convenient then having to remember to turn them off & on, as I use them outside on my patio table !
