What can you say it's a box of salt. It is a fine grain salt. Not at all like rock salt and it's in a plastic bag inside of a cardboard box. It's exactly what it should be. Dissolves quickly and ponds

If you have fish you need this. Gets rid of all kinds of parasites and illnesses protects fish from getting ill and reduces the stress , This is the best value I have found for the money. I even use it in the tanks in my house to keep the fish from stressing out during water changes and filter cleaning. Last long and is more concentrated than other brands. Some times all that is needed is salt not them expensive chemicals that can harm you.

Resolves fairly easy but is not a powder

This item does not ship well as bulk, 40 pounds. The first time I received it, the internal bag that the salt is wrapped in had a hole in it so salt was leaking out a little. The second time I have received the shipment, The manufacturers box wasn’t even in there. It was like it got destroyed during the shipping process and the shipping company just re-boxed the bag of salt, (which was still leaking) in a regular brown shipping box. To the manufacturer: you need to have a better way of shipping this product as bulk. Updated 9/12/25 I got a chance to use the product and it is very fine salt, you have to use double and it still didn’t work that good. I’m going back to their competitor which comes in a really nice hard black container with a handle and a nice lid that I can actually store outside near the pond under our gazebo. I do not recommend this product.

I needed just a little something to soften the water, give my Koi a little protection and something that would not damage my aquatic plants. This did exactly that! As you can see my fish are completely happy!

This is a very good product. The salt dissolves quickly and this container is perfect for people that have to treat large volumes of water. If you have multiple aquariums or a fish room this is a great purchase. I would recommend this product. There is a scoop that comes inside to the bucket. One full scoop treats 190 US gallons.

Worked great for my pond. Way better price than the box stores for a larger amount.

Great price for the amount you get compared to the boxed aquarium salt

I’ve used pawn salt for years. It’s an added protection for the fish with the slime coat and certainly does not affect the pond quality in anyway. I’ve used it in Alberta with my Koi Pond and now I’m in British Columbia and I use it In my goldfish pond.

I keep the salt levels high in my 5000 Gallon koi pond. This is excellent. Pure salt so wont harm fish. It is quality and cheap at the price. I know some use regular bags of salt but I worry if not pure I may damage my lovely koi. Peace of mind and very inexpensive. A+
