H71071032 Optilux XB Series H11 Xenon White Halogen Bulbs, 12V, 80W, 2 Pack

Lights are lights to me but they seem to work good and be a bit brighter than the last bulbs in my car.

Bought these to replace the original style halogen bulbs in my ‘07 Ranger. I had previously bought new fog light housings but had not replaced the bulbs until now, and man what a difference. I have the matching Hella headlight bulbs too and the improvement is incredible, and at a bargain compared to Silverstars.

They seem to be well-made lightbulbs, but they weren’t as bright as I thought they would be, but I would still buy again

I ran a free android app on my phone to test brightness. I went from 1630 to 1084 lux. I think all the extra brightness is lost in the dark blue filter. The stock bulbs in my 6 year old durango are much brighter.

The Lights lite the road up better than the stock bulbs.

I’ve ordered Hella Optilux bulbs before years ago for my audi and was happy with them , they were nice and bright. With this set I got I just don’t feel like they’re as bright as they used to be . Headlights is new , no hazing no oxidation so I know that isn’t the issue . Yes the color output it has does look white but the reach and brightness isn’t as great . Might have to opt in HID upgrade instead

These "80watt" bulbs are dimmer then the stock H11's. Sure the colour is more blue but the effective light is worse if anything. I will be going with modified H9's as they do have a noticeable increase in lumens. Only buy if you are mor interested in going from ~3500k to ~5000K colour spectrum with no useable light increase.

These 80w watt bulbs from OPTILUX are fantastic. They give the same illumination as a 100 watt bulb and they are do not burn as HOT and are not likely to fail as quickly as. 100 watt did. The light pattern is full and worthy of RECOMMENDATION which I am giving here. I am purchasing another set of the same to keep as a spare. Thank you

Support was excellent to deal with and sent a replacement set, not just the one defective bulb. They also suggested I contact them if the new low beam replacement set resets the low beam alignment to normal, in which case they may send a replacement high beam set as well, so very pleased. I will up this to 5 stars once I've installed the replacement bulbs and all is good. Previously: I've driven on Hella lights and spotlights for many years and have always been impressed with this brand, and I was pleased to see this offered on Amazon. Unfortunately I was some disappointed when I installed my H11 bulb set along with the HB3/9005 High beam set, as well. (80/100w) The lights were way out of alignment and so low (2016 GMC Canyon) that I could only use the high beams, and still couldn't see more than a few feet in front of me because the alignment was so low, though I'll admit I could probably spot an ant, they were so bright! I thought I'd run out of height adjustment getting these realigned. Once set, they were pretty good, though oddly the light definition didn't seem as good as the factory high/low (60/55w) bulbs Unfortunately, it's only been 6 months and the driver side H11 bulb has blown, and due to the crazy alignment issue, I cannot simply replace one bulb, all four on my headlights need to be changed. Hopefully the blown bulb will be replaced under warranty? (Checking now...)

Gives the LED/modern look in OEM halogen assemblies, but not having to deal with the issues with LEDs. The light colour seems to be the same as halogen on the road. I went with 80w because it seems everyone else have upgraded to lights beyond regulations. I was the dimmest on the road at 55w halogen where my headlights didn't seem like they are on at all. Not sure of longevity, but I am prepared to replace every fall when days get shorter..I don't often drive at night.
