Just right for my small tank

So I read a lot of reviews people complaining about noise, which if u buy the kit with the air pump it is super quiet. Then people complained about not being able to take the thing apart to clean. I mean for $7 a month I can replace the cartridge. The power is controllable which is nice as it doesn't suck my betta fish in like most filters do. People complained about it making there tank cloudy but I rinsed it really well and ran it for 15 minutes in just a bowl of water to get any excess gunk out and it worked just fine. Didn't make my water cloudy at all. And with in a half hour of running I could tell the water clarity was getting better. I think this is a great filter for my tank which is 1.6 gallons and didn't come with a filter. Very small doesn't take up to much room in his tank. Also filter replacement is very easy. You just pop it out and stick a new one in.

My small fish tank filter takes these refills, which are more affordable than most other ones. It works great and takes up minimal space in my small aquarium. I also have made other Amazon purchases from this same company/seller. I am very pleased with everything. Update - I lowered the filter rating to 4 stars because of my most recent purchase, in April. I thought it was just the packaging, but when I opened it, the filters already appeared dirty. I realize some of the filter stuff could have gotten on the white material, but it should not have been that much. Hopefully, the filters will be ok for regular length use.

My daughter won this fish at a county fair. And I was having a very difficult time keeping the water clean in this small 1 gallon. I researched this bought it and it seems to be doing a great job.

I did alot of research for slow flow betta filters and seen this one highly recommended and for the cost I ordered two sets for both my bettas. When I first hooked it up, the flow was crazy fast and I was so sad.. didn't even set up the second one because I was ready to return. I didn't see the part that you can add to the tubing to adjust the flow. Once I found that part when I set up the second one, I was AMAZED. Bettas don't like fast flows, almost no movement is their preference because more can stress and tear them up. This filter works amazing. I can slow it down to barely a bubble just enough and my bettas are so happy! I would definitely recommend these over any expensive pet store filter!!

After a full day of running it the tank is just as cloudy and our poor fish is still swimming in filth and hopefully won't die before a different filter we ordered will arive. Don't see how water even goes into the filter and it is all around very very noisy which is annoying since the tank has to be in our bedroom. Save your money. Don't buy this noise machine if the lack of cleaning doesn't kill your fish you might annoy it to death with the amount of noise this thing makes.

The only way to replace the cartridge is to buy an entirely new cartridge. That is a lot of plastic waste. The should make these so you can just refill the media. They work great in a five gallon tank but I can't get past all the plastic waste.

Great little pump for small aquariums.

This was a great filter in a 3 gal. tank! I had a Betta & it worked well. I now have a 5 gal. tank & it got dirty quickly-every week. I highly recommend in a smaller tank!

This is nice little kit for small tanks up to 5 gallons. Come with everything you need to get started, easy to use and setup. Cleaning and replacing the filter cartridge is simple. Air pump output is great and is very quiet, you hear the bubbles but not the pump.

Hace bien su función de mantener el agua limpia en peceras de bajo litraje, también bien oxigenado el agua, solo que efectivamente, es como de cartuchos y si siempre se va a tener si hay que comprar repuestos, pero de allí en más todo muy bien.
