Is the coating ptfe free?

Check their website. It depends on which line of the pans you’re looking at. This is a hard anodized aluminum, and like most other hard anodized aluminum brands/products, I believe it does use some PTFE in the anodizing process. However, it does not scratch off or flake like the old full Teflon. The Calphalon ceramic coated pans do not use PTFE. Please Google and make your decision based on the pros and cons. I feel very comfortable that it is not leaching into my food as long as I maintain it correctly, e.g. don’t scratch up the finish. I love my Calphalon cookware and bakeware!

Nothing sticks!!

These pans are great! NOTHING sticks. Very easy to clean. My wife bakes sourdough bread, and the loafs come out easily, with a nice browned crust. Chocolate chip cookies slide off easy, you barely need a spatula.

Great set but keeping them in good shape takes some extra care!

We love the set and use each piece regularly. Our only gripe is they scratch and rust very quickly and easily. We do put them in the dishwasher and take them out right away and make sure they are dried immediately or the edges on the bottom sides fill with rusty water and drip all over everything.

Almost perfect

The non stick is top quality and if you take care of it, it will last a long time and remain easy to clean. I say it's almost perfect because the baking sheets warp in the oven. It makes a loud cracking sound when it happens, it doesn't seem dangerous or anything but it's the first baking sheet I've used that does this. When I'm finishing baking it warps back to it's original shape.Ultimately, I've enjoyed my purchase so far.
