Great troubleshooter
HO trains are my passion. Many assemblies (locomotives and related electronic items) require either setup or fine-tuning to work. This interface gives me a chance to quickly and easily meet the requirements of my layout. A very handy 'tool' to have around IMHO.

Decent quality. Kind of pricey, but if you need the ease of connection the screw terminals offer, it's worth it. It was intended for an RS232 breadboard, so it should serve well for many years.

Great RS232 Breadboard connector
This handy adapter allows you to make secure wired connection to a DB9 connector without soldering. The connections are made on screw terminal so wiring can be changed with just a small screw driver. Note it works for any DB9 connection not just RS232.
