I'm a brand new beginner guitar player. I love this book. The songs were fun to learn and wasy with practice. It really helps if you download Croce matching CD to help you learn the strumming patterns. If you like Croce, then I recommend this book.

This was a gift for my stepdad, and he loves Jim Croce. When he opened it on Christmas he was very excited. He looked though the book and said it looked great and just his speed! Almost a month since Christmas and haven't heard a complaint from him. So, safe to say this is a nice beginner book for a guitar player that likes Jim Croce!

The problem with internet tabulature websites is you are never sure they are 100% right - as evidenced by dozens of 'versions' of the same song. As a kid growing up in the 70's I was a Croce fan by virtue of my parents being Croce fans. This book contains the chord tabulature, but also the finger style. In addition, each song contains a recommended strum pattern or picking pattern, one of the hardest things for novice guitar players to pick up, in my experience. This book was gold for the cost, I highly recommend it.

Yup. Gonna learn to play guitar this summer. Oddly enough, of all the choices available I only bought four songbooks. I like this music.

their version of songs is too easy. I want the real tabs, not the tabs for sissies.

I got this as a stocking-stuffer for the teen daughter taking guitar lessons. She's been taking them for almost a year. She loves it (though she wishes it had "Cottonmouth River"), and her guitar teacher does too. Excellent so far, at least for a beginning guitar student.

いわゆる完璧コピー譜ではなく雰囲気コピー譜ですが弾き語りするには十分です。 収録曲にはイングリッドとのデュオ時代の曲も採譜されておりなかなかマニアックです。 個人的には「ニューヨーク・イズ・ノット・マイホーム」が採譜されていたのが嬉しかったです。 またほとんどの曲が見開き2ページ以内に収まるように編集されており、譜面台において使うときにペラペラめくる必要がなく便利です。

注文から２週間、アメリカ発送から一週間かかりましたが、待った甲斐のあったTAB集だ。 アメリカ的に合理的な編集になっていて、ストロークパターンとフィンガーピッキングの凡例をあらかじめ決めておき巻頭ページにまとめて記載。 各曲のTAB譜では、音の肝になる部分のみ記載していて、あとは各ページ指定している巻頭の凡例パターンを使って弾くというシステム。 説明するのは難しいが、 Jim Croceの原曲を知っている人なら、十分に雰囲気を生かして弾き語れるのがミソだ。 実にリーズナブルな価格だが、ベスト23曲が収録されていて、十分楽しめる。 今は亡き、Jim Croceの名曲を歌うには、ナイスなＴＡＢ譜だ。 さすが本場では、こんな価格でこの手のTABが入手できるとは、うらやましい。
