I love sitting sideways with the side up far enough to hold my head. I also like while laying in it to rest to completely cover it over me so was very pleased I could do both with this hammock. The straps work wonderful and hold tight. I did have a slight problem when my tree was to narrow but I just turned the straps around and used the end with the sections closer around the tree and it held very good.
