Careful on sizing
The belt is fine, but be careful on sizing. I have a 30" waist so I bought the medium. It's so big, I have to wrap the tongue all the way around my back to get it to fit which doesn't feel good and is not a lot of fun to take off and put on. So I bought the small, which is so small I can't wear it. As you'll also notice, unlike the Valeo, they don't offer a sizing chart on this item.

Runs small, but great overall!
Initially I bought the small, I am a 5ft. 3.5 inches tall female and I have around a 27-28 size waist. The felt was far from even touching the velcro part where it should stick on. Luckily, I have Amazon Prime, so I was able to send it back right away with no issues at all and re-ordered the medium and came 3 days later. Much better fit and there is more than enough sizing adjustment left for me to loosen it up. I also like that the back part of the belt because it's not too large height. This belt overall has a very tough build from the stitching to the quality of the material. This is an excellent belt for those who do squats and deadlifts. I always have to wear it when performing any of these exercises.I will update my review again later if I still feel the same way or not. :)

Best there is
I first used this belt maybe a decade ago when working out with a buddy. Had a hard time ever finding it again. Until AMAZON. Anyways its for people that need a weight belt to do what it is meant to do, increase intra-abdominal pressure during heavy torso exercises mainly squats lunges and deadliest. It does this perfectly. It is comfy and not overly stiff so it still allows you move. This is the gold standard, however if you want a belt to wear while you tip toe around the gym go for one of those huge still leather ones

Great Belt
I would recommend this belt to anyone. I have a 32-33 waist and the medium fits perfectly. I've always had lower back pain so I removed deadlifts and squats from my routine since my back would flare up. Now that I got the belt I decided to put them back in my routine. It's been a month since I had the belt and my lower back feels great. The belt is easy to adjust compared to the leather belt. Also can't beat the price for a great quality belt.

Sizing is CORRECT. Should to be TIGHT!
I bought mine from Dicks due to all the complaints about the sizing being off, just so I could try it on. I found that the sizing is, in fact, accurate. As another reviewer pointed out, the belt is supposed to be VERY tight around your waste! It's supporting your spine, for crying out loud. These belts are not meant to be loosely worn around the waist. What is the point of that? You need to pull this thing as tight as possible when you put it on.I tried this style of belt compared to some of the older leather ones, and found this style FAR more comfortable and less awkward to use. I definitely recommend it.

This is a serious, secure, weightlifting belt
Don't let the velcro fool you, this is one serious weight lifting belt. I've used this belt frequently over the past 5 years and the velcro has not let loose in the gym one time. It has held firm even while squatting and dead lifting 400-450lbs.The belt itself is nylon, which makes it relatively flexible so it won't cut into your skin like a rigid leather belt will. Also, since this is secured with velcro, you can get it exactly as tight as you want it - no more, no less. With a standard belt you'll probably have to settle for an adjustment loop that's either too lose or too tight. For the casual lifter, this probably isn't a deal breaker. However when you are training near your maximum lift, you want a belt that is a bit too lose or a bit too tight can really throw you off.Either way, this is a very comfortable, flexible, strong workout belt that unlike most belts is infinitely adjustable.

Harbinger Power Belt
Great Product at a great price. I ordered two of these, one for my son and one for me. I'm an old lifter from the old school where I used to use thick leather double buckle belts. I'm very impressed with this product and it's strength.
