I'm not a fan of that look. I use the Rustoleum Chalked Paints quite frequently and by far, my favorite brush is the Wooster foam brush. It looks alot like the super cheap foam brushes, but it leaves an incredibly smooth surface and can be washed and reused over and over. If you want a more traditional brush, go with a mid-road synthetic like the Wooster short cut (I swear I don't work for wooster). I also dilute this paint and spray it in an HVLP sprayer for large projects, and it works beautifully! **Q: is 'linen white' white white or what** A: I would describe the linen white as a true and bright white, it creates a beachy look. I love it. It's the best white I've seen in a paint other than Benjamin Moore's Simply White. And if you're familiar with that color, this linen white is a brighter white in comparison. So if you're wanting a linen white that's in the beige or a flax linen color family, this is not it. Some ACE hardware stores and possibly others that carry this paint, have an entire selection of colors that can be mixed on site for a custom color. **Q: How big of a piece of furniture could a 30oz can cover?** A: It covers a few hundred square feet. That's sometimes hard to translate to furniture so I hope it's helpful if I just tell you that I can't think of a single piece of furniture that would require opening a second can. A can will get two coats on 2 or 3 large dressers, a large dining table with chairs, or a couple of armoires, all with some left over. **Q: Can I paint faux leather fabric** A: I'm responding to the questions/comments below about chalk painting on fabric. You definitely can paint fabric! I chalked an old chair with horrible gold velvet upholstery. You must dilute your paint & apply multiple coats-drying in between.
