Recommend for Eco-friendly Household clean-up
Works great for cleaning. I keep a stack of these clean towels with a spray bottle of white vinegar nearby at all times So much easier to keep up with kitchen messes! And I'm not tossing a bunch of paper out. I only use disposable paper towels for really gross messes. I got the pack of 500 - that's a LOT of shop towels, especially if you plan to reuse them. A lifetime supply, I think.

If you’re going to wash..
Heads up, if you wash these they will discolor everything else! I washed these with some other shop towels and the dyed everything yellow! I didn’t separate the colors because they were all shop rags anyways but be careful if that’s something you’re going to do. I washed them because straight from the package they don’t seem very absorbent, but I’ve found I’m using them everywhere everyday. Would purchase again for the right price.

Replaced paper towels for these
I’ve been wanting to replace the use of paper towels in our home for some time. I reuse a cardboard tube and roll them on and it has been a wonderful idea and useful in so many ways. Things to know: wash in hot water in machine before use and DO NOT add other items in. Everything will come out in a pee yellow color if you do. If this happens, put everything in bleach water for 5 minutes and that should do it. Second, your man might run off with a few, so expect that lol. Great value overall.

Good for cleaning but not quite to absorb liquids
The material of this cloth is not smooth at all it’s ok to clean up around grease or dust but I wouldn’t recommend to clean or sanitation of smooth surfaces

Good for some things
I've never used shop towels before. They were recommended for waxing furniture after painting. I'm not sure if the fibres on all shop towels rub off. It's fine over darker colors but over lighter ones there is slight yellowing. I wouldn't recommend shop towels for this use but they'd be great for other things.
