The Enchanted Spellboard: Magical Messages from the Spirit World

This is my wife writing this review: This is not your typical spirit board. A lot of Ouija boards have a negative presence not because the board itself is evil but because of the negative publicity and hype. It wasn’t until recent that the spirit board got a bad rap (mostly because of kids using them and horror films). These boards have been around for thousands of years, with of course variations. I, personally, use the board by myself as I find that others can taint the board. If you can find someone on the same spiritual level as you and with the right frame of mind, it will work fine. For those who may be afraid to try it because of the stories, let me reassure you they are just stories. My family has been using these boards for generations (long line of psychics) and NOTHING negative has ever happened. Some advice: 1) If you are going to call upon someone, know who you are calling upon. Be specific. I use the board to call upon my higher self because I believe that I hold all the answers to my life. Rarely, I will ask if my angels or guides if they have a specific message for me. 2) Do not ask stupid questions like: “when am I going to die?” “ Is so and so cheating on me?” “ Are you good or evil?” 3) Know that your frame of mind is going to greatly effect the type of answers you will get. If you are afraid you are going to meet a demon, you are going to have an experience that reflects that. In most cases, you are not connecting with a demon but rather the fear center of your brain. The board itself is a beautiful piece of work. It is very visually pleasing and encourages a positive mindset and session. Some people find that the creases in the board effect its accuracy. I do not find this a problem. I just add a little more pressure to the planchette to get over the creases. The board is smoother than the Psychic Circle which helps with moving the planchette. I really enjoy the symbols on this board. It gives readings much more depth and meaning. It also helps increase lines of communication between yourself and Spirit. On a final note, if you read the book and follow its directions, you will find it accurate and enlightening! I highly recommend this board for the beginner and advance practitioner alike!

This board is Amy Zerner and Monte Farber's answer to a Ouija board. It contains letters of the alphabet plus other elements as well such as images of crystals, trees, signs of the zodiac, colors, words and enchanted spirits. This a beautifully done board. The artwork definitely deserves 5 stars. The positive tone and vibrant look takes away from any creepy associations that Ouija boards sometimes conjure. The thing to be aware of is it will work differently for different people. For instance, Amy Zerner said that she can only get answers when she uses it with another person. She can't get answers using it by herself. As for me I enjoy using it myself to get clear cut answers to Yes and No type questions. So far I haven't received anything very complex. For straightforward answers I enjoy using it.

I used it and it worked first it didn't by myself then I did it with a friend and it worked better. Then I used it alone after playing with friend and it worked. This is the real deal I got 3 family relatives that gave me messages and spelled out there name. I reccomend this board its awesome I will keep this for many yrs to come

The Enchanted Spellboard by Amy Zerner and Monte Farber is a spirit board that is similar to The Psychic Circle. The box contains the Enchanted Spellboard, which is an 18 inch square, a 33 page book that describes each of the symbols on the board and how to use it, a planchette and a bracelet that can be worn while using the board. The board has a strong feeling of a connection with nature and natural elements demonstrated by butterflies in each corner and 12 trees, each symbolizing a different meaning. The board contains the numbers zero through nine, the letters A through Z, and the words FAR, RIGHT, WRONG, REAP, SOW, FIX, BREAK, GIVE, TAKE, PAST, PRESENT, FUTURE, DAY, NIGHT, UNKNOWN and NEAR. The board also contains the colors red, fuchsia, orange, yellow, green, blue, aqua, purple, indigo, tan, lavender, pink, black, brown, gray and white. Other symbols include the 12 zodiacs and 12 women, symbolizing the following: courage, wellness, creativity, abundance, enlightenment, banishing, location, timing, joy, success, communication and love. The included 33 page is a great asset when using the Enchanted Spellboard. The book explains every symbol on the board and how to apply them to answers that are given. By having the booklet next to the board during a session, the meanings can be looked up immediately, rather than having to wait after a session. The included bracelet is also a nice touch for protection when using the board. I like this board for a few reasons. The book clearly describes each of the symbols, so it does not become confusing while interpreting the symbols. Another reason that I like this board is the positive energy that flows out of the board. The colors and symbols create a calm feeling when viewing it. One flaw that I found is that the words HELLO, and GOODBYE do not appear anywhere on the board. These are two words that are important, especially GOODBYE. It is common practice when ending a session to move the planchette to GOODBYE, and close the session. You can still close a session without having the word GOODBYE, but I would rather have the word available. I will give this board 4 out of 5 stars. As always, practice caution when using ANY board. I personally do not like to use any form of spirit boards, since it is opening a door to the unknown, in which everyone can access. If readers still wish to purchase a spirit board, I ask that readers research how to use a board as safely as possible.

Like The Psychic Circle.... This spirit board adds some verity when communicating with the other side. And no, they're not all evil entities. Just like aliens from outer-space, why is the unknown always perceived as hostile? And it's always people who haven't studdied the subhject that appear to know the most about it. <wink>

Le principe de ce jeu est le même que la oui-ja. Mais il y a davantage de réponses possibles, imprimées, sous forme de symboles : couleurs, pierres, arbres, etc.. C'est une pratique qui fait appel à notre inconscient, à l'inconscient collectif cher à CG Jung, ou des esprits qui nous ressemblent (la fameuse loi d'attraction: on n'attire ce qui nous correspond). J'étais sceptique et suis très cartésienne, mais ayant constaté des occurrences dans ma maison plus que surprenantes et pratiquant la oui ja depuis, j'ai changé d'avis. Je vous jure sur ma tête que j'ai vu des objets se déplacer, mon dessus de lit être tiré etc... Fort heureusement, ce sont des esprits très amicaux qui essaient d'attirer l'attention! Je garde quand même à l'esprit mon esprit critique et le "doute libérateur" ; il est ainsi conseillé de se protéger avant toute séance et de le faire avec sérieux et respect. Et beaucoup de patience. Au début, il y a de la méfiance, puis peu à peu ça marche. Mais évidemment, c'est long (enfin, ça dépend des fois, de notre état de fatigue, et autres paramètres que nous ignorons bien sûr). Certaines questions n'auront pas de réponse car nous ne sommes pas autorisés à connaître certaines choses... (on le saura bien assez tôt... le plus tard possible !). C'est ce que j'ai appris entre autres. C'est vraiment interessant. A noter que beaucoup de soin a été apporté dans la fabrication de l'ensemble: la planche est vraiment bien décorée, solide (en carton bien épais, pliable), la planchette de la oui-ja est remplacée par un cercle en plastique. Le manuel (attention: EN ANGLAIS) est très détaillé. Un dictionnaire des symboles peut compléter les images de la planche (sinon faire une recherche internet, mais une version papier est plus facile à lire je trouve, on survole moins.) Quelques rituels sont proposés également pour porter chance dans certains domaines (relationnel, guérison et bien être, finances...) Pourquoi pas? Si vous pratiquez déjà la oui-ja, ou souhaitez découvrir la pratique, c'est un bon jeu.

Got this a while ago...have never taken it out of packaging (mint in box)...Had to add to my collection of Ouija/spirit boards...great value

The board is what I expected and nice. Though, it didn't come with a planchet at all. I understand mistakes happen, I would just like this to be fixed up please. This was a gift and its disappointing not being able to properly use the board.
