I bought this to have a super packable towel that takes up less space in my luggage yet was still big enough to go around me as a plus size person. I ended up loving it and deciding to switch to these at home. Take up less space to store, and better for the environment because it takes less water to wash and many more fit in a load. I find it dries my hair pretty well, actually sometimes better than a traditional towel. If I keep squeezing it, more water keeps coming out. And they do dry faster. Overall a win! Bought several more. Do not expect a plush Terry material. They are thin but they do the job!

I bought this towel to try it out before potentially buying more for a vacation. So far I love it. The towel is soft and surprisingly absorbent for a thin towel. Used it after a shower and I was able to dry off nicely, towel looked more wet when drying my hair. I look forward to seeing how good it works at the beach.

I don't find that the towel absorbs water as well as some other reviewers claimed. Maybe I'm still getting used to the concept of the Turkish towel. What I do love is how small these fold up, and the colors are great. I used my towel at the beach to cover up when the wind started whipping and I got cold. On the same trip, I used it to keep from getting burned. The light fabric kept me cool while shading from the sun. I liked this towel enough to ask for another for Christmas. If you're looking for a super soft, fluffy towel, this may not be for you, but I'd recommend you give it a chance!

We love these towels so much we decided to buy a second one for each of us. Lightweight and so absorbent - you can dry off in seconds. Towels then dry quickly as well. Have gotten these as gifts also with some choosing to use them as shawls rather than towels. Highly recommend.

This towel worked pretty well for a recent trip to Hawaii. It was very compact and lightweight so it was easy to put in a suitcase and also pack around in a beach bag. One downside was that it did not dry as fast as I had hoped and even hanging up overnight at the hotel room, was still damp in the morning. It did dry fairly well outside in the sun and wind though.

I was about to go on a cruise and my spy of a phone began advertising Turkish towels to me on Instagram. I came to Amazon to compare options. I read reviews before purchasing and this was perfect. It’s mid-range on price. It rolled up small and fit in the water bottle pocket of my carry-on backpack. I sat on it at the beach, shook it off before rolling it back up, and even the wet sand didn’t stick to it! I used it to dry off after swimming at the pool and in the ocean and hung it inside my cabin afterward each time to dry. I used it over and over again. It dried quickly. I also wrapped it around me to keep warm at times and draped it around my neck like a scarf while walking around for easy carrying. This was absolutely perfect as I didn’t want to have to carry a bulky towel around.

Got the popular brand, but was a little heavy. These were more packable and more like a drying towel. My other one feels more like a picnic blanket.

This isn’t the MOST QUALITY product on the planet, but it’s cute and gets the job done for the price. I mostly use this as a cover up and tie it around my waist and less so as an actual towel. It’s certainly not as absorbent as a regular cotton towel, but its a good over up or towel to use when you’re laying out by the pool and need to toss it over a pool chair. I ordered the pink and it’s consistent with the photo online!

First time using a peshtemal towel. It's thinner than your regular beach towel, but that's a pro not a con. But if you are not familiar with these types of towels, you may be concerned. But the proof is in the performance of this product. It dries faster - very absorbent. I like to towel off and then use as a sarong or tie it around my neck and wear it halter dress-style. People complain they wrinkle, but I find I just drape it over my deck rails and the wrinkles soon relax. Colour is beautiful too. Definitely looking to purchase more.

The material is really soft and absorbent. I had bought a Turkish towel previously that is nice but not the quality this has. I totally recommend.
