Gorgeous art and a sweet story.
This book has always been a favorite of mine since the day i bought it, and it prompted me to pick up every other manga by this author I've been able to find. The two main characters are a really beautiful couple. I love them and really wish there were more books about them. Both men are models. The uke has long hair (a favorite trait of mine in manga characters!) and is older than the seme, who looks up to him and strives to be like him in his career. The uke isn't getting as many modeling jobs as he gets older and it's stressing him out; yet while the seme is getting more and more popular at their modeling agency, he still tells his uke he's the most beautiful one and that he still wants to work even harder so he can follow in his footsteps. It's just a really sweet relationship. There's no jealousy or annoying third-party trying to break them up, which is a trope I really dislike, so I love that about this book. There are plenty of love scenes and they're more exciting than the standard; one takes place on a sofa at the workplace, another in a bathtub. The art is beautiful throughout but especially when the characters are at work, modeling. There are 2 side stories that are just long enough to make for an interesting story. One is about a young model who becomes lovers with an older photographer, and the other is about a college student whose crush is killed before he ever gets to confess his feelings, but he falls in love with the crush's younger brother instead. They were all right, but the main couple were the best. There's a final mini-chapter of them at the end but I still want more!

Could have been better
I was not too impressed with this soft Yaoi. The main love story between 2 male models has a good setting and beginning but turn up rather ordinary mid-way. There could have been more angst in their romance. Afterall, Tadashi who is the once popular and older model, is now on a career downhill. On the other hand the younger Aki is now the top model. Surely this should have created more tension in their relationship as Tadashi tries desperately to catch up. Also I find certain parts disjointed. Maybe it is the translation.Again the second short story between a photographer and a part time young model has a nice set up but fails to take off.The 3rd story of a guy mourning for his dead lover and finding love with said lover's brother is a nice one and I wish this is longer to give it more depth. The artwork is nice, the boys pretty. Too bad the plot is somewhat lacking.

A Great Read!
The story revolves around Tadashi and Aki, two models who belong to the same agency. The story is from the point of view of the easygoing and slightly older Tadashi, who is starting to have difficulty finding jobs. Aki, on the other hand, is a successful younger model on the rise, who has always looked up to Tadashi. Not a lot happens in terms of plot, we just follow Tadashi and Aki's developing relationship and watch as Tadashi deals with his feelings towards his career. There is some drama but the overall tone is pretty lighthearted, which makes this an easy read. I felt both main characters were likeable and engaging and I was completely drawn in by the relationship between them. (The volume also includes two unrelated short stories, which are also entertaining.)I'm a big fan of Shouko Hidaka's work. Her artwork is beautiful and her characters and stories are always well developed and have a lot of depth. If you haven't read her work before I definitely recommend it!Overall, something about this manga just really works- I really love it anyway! If you're looking for a sweet read, pick this up!
