Strong enough to exfoliate yet gentle enough on my face so there’s no irritation!

These are just what I needed. I used to buy the more expensive single or double pack of buffing puffs. I ended up using longer than I should. They develop bacteria in a short period of time. It was a waste so I tried to prolong use. That's not good. So with these little sponges, I can change them out weekly depending on how often I use it. I just make sure I clean it off well with antibacterial soap and shake out all the water so it can dry fast. They are not too abrasive but enough to exfoliate. I can adjust the amount of exfoliation by pressure and length of time scrubbing. Sometimes I want more so I buff in circulation motion a little longer. I don't know why I never got these before. I like that they are small and compact and dry up thin and expand when water is added. I love that its an 18 pack for a nice price. I definitely am hooked and will be repurchasing. I also plan to gift these for my 3 daughters too.

Too rough for my face, but great for my body. Texture is good. They are thick enough. They open up when placed in water. Easy to use, they are of a good quality and you get a good amount for the money. Not crazy about they way the are cut, they are natural, just used to a more uniform shape, but they are good scrubbers

I'm giving this product five stars, even though it's not perfect, because it's the best you could expect of a product of this type. First, it's important to remember that these discs are cut from natural loofah and shipped in a fully dried-out state. Just like any other natural product, there is going to be a wide variation from item to item, even within a single package. Some of these are really thick (maybe 1/3 of an inch in some cases, about 8mm) and others are so thin you can see through them without difficulty. They have a "soft" side and a "rough" side. You'll be able to see the interior ribs of the loofah. Don't scrub with that part! Use the soft side, which is plenty abrasive. The ribs on the inside provide a good grip. They will have at least a slight curve, convex to the soft side. In a package of 18, most of them will be good, a few will be great (super thick and soft), and a couple will be thin enough that you won't want to use them more than a couple of times. Fortunately, they're inexpensive enough that it shouldn't really matter that much. They do a great job of exfoliating your skin without being too aggressive. I like how they do a good job of removing oil and blackheads, especially in combination with an oil-free acne wash, without opening up your skin or causing redness or discomfort. They're a good size to grip without being too big, while being flexible enough to get into the nooks and crannies of your face, for example. Best of all, whenever you're ready for a fresh one, you can just toss it out without worrying about plastic waste. I've been using these for about a year, and I'm maybe halfway through a pack of 108. I should probably change mine more frequently, but when I have a nice thick one, I don't want to throw it out until I'm sure it needs to go. They're great, and as long as you understand what you're buying, I think you'll be satisfied like I am.

When these are dry they look very thin. Once they are wet thoroughly the plump up a lot! Tried it for the first time last night. I was plesantly surprised it was fine for what I needed it to exfoliate. I don't know if I would use this on my face it's a bit too rough for that. But for a body parts exfoliator, yes! Excited to see the results I get from using this over time. Giving it 3 stars because I want to see results over a period of time with regular use. Will update rating later.

These are very tiny and I don't know what I will do with them.

I like these because they work great, very effective and you don't feel bad tossing it when it looks expired vs. a larger version for one's back that lasts the same length of time but far more expensive. I want to use one on my face as an experiment, but after reading some of the negative comments I haven't tried. Not looking to rip the delicate skin on my face, but other than that, great product for the $.

Must purchase, it gentle on my face and scrub clean all at the same time
