There is one "trick" to lighting them which may help users who have had a hard time. The wick is attached to a square of starter material. This square should be placed back into the vertical air channel for the OneLog to work properly. So before lighting the wick, push the square backward until it hits the back wall of the channel. Then light the wick. We use a plastic butane lighter to do the lighting. If you're using a match that will make it harder. {Suggestion to Bob at OneLog: Make the wick about a half an inch longer.} After lighting, the OneLog will burn for 60 to 90 minutes making a nice fire on its own.
